The Health Incidents and Life Changes of My Cat, Diandian

The Health Incidents and Life Changes of My Cat, Diandian

I’m so sleepy. Don’t bother me for now~

Sleeping like this is so comfortable~

Recorded on January 28, 2018:

On January 27, 2018, the 11th day of the 12th lunar month, on the first morning after moving into the new home, my boyfriend had a video call with me. My brother accidentally found a thread hanging from the corner of Diandian’s mouth. My boyfriend thought it had played with a rope and got it stuck on its teeth and couldn’t take it off. After looking closely, it was a big deal. It had swallowed the thread. After pulling for a long time, we found that the thread was very long and had been swallowed into its stomach and got stuck and couldn’t be taken out. We quickly took it to the hospital.

Diandian, who was still sleeping and rolling in the bathtub the night before, was lying on the operating table because it had swallowed the curtain thread. It is usually well – behaved, but it doesn’t like others to touch its mouth and feet. Coupled with the fact that swallowing the thread made it sensitive, it was very fierce in the hospital, shouting angrily and struggling.

The doctor said that fortunately, a thread end was left outside. Otherwise, the rope might be too tough and cause the intestine to be damaged and have internal bleeding due to repeated friction.

After the operation, it was getting an intravenous drip and had to be hospitalized for a week for observation. It might feel cold because it was weak after the operation, so it needed to be covered with a blanket. Diandian was still very sensitive after the operation, looking angry. My boyfriend stayed beside it all the time. Seeing it was weak and dizzy all over because the anesthesia hadn’t worn off, it was both pitiful and funny.

Moreover, the doctor said that Diandian’s belly was full of fat, extremely fat, and it was a real little chubby cat.

Diandian has recovered its health again, and still doesn’t like taking a bath.

Why don’t you give me to eat?!

Ah~Cat food pouch~

Where did this annoying person come from to plot against me again!

Recorded on March 22, 2018:

On March 1, 2018, my boyfriend and I ended our long – distance relationship and the three – member “family” moved to Xiamen to live.

Because of the operation at the end of January, Diandian lost weight to 7.8 pounds, its resistance decreased. Coupled with not being used to the new environment, it got ringworm again.

Diandian likes me to hold it to sunbathe and likes to sleep on the bay window. It can see us as soon as it looks up. Every time I wake up and call its name, it will blink in response. After making eye contact with it, it will run over and squat on the stool in front of the bed, asking to be stroked, purring cutely.

Mom? Are you awake?

I customized an e – pass card with this photo, but it was soon lost and picked up…
