Seeing many cat owners post photos of British Shorthair Blue and White cats, I feel that they all look so similar…
First of all, Ditto came to my home purely by accident. There’s a WeChat group for the cat – raising association in our company. I often “admire cats” in the group. Since I live with others, I never had the chance to raise a cat. At that time, a colleague had two British Shorthair Blue and White cats. Ditto was originally named “Dongdong”. He had just arrived at the owner’s home not long ago when he got sick. His left eye was swollen very big, almost couldn’t open, and he was very listless. (I just ran to look for the photos of him when he was sick, but found that after changing my phone, I didn’t save them. So sad)
Later, I took over him and gave him a new name, Ditto. Those who have watched Ghost should know that this word means “I love you too” when translated. Maybe it’s a bit literary, but my colleagues all call him “Dituo” (sounds like “mop” in Chinese), and later it became “Feituo” (fat mop).
