A two – and – a – half – month – old kitten has just arrived to “report”. When I bought her, she was the most expensive among the kittens born in the same batch. The cattery said it was rare to breed such a perfect female kitten (with a perfect “eight – shaped” face, five pink parts, full ears and full back, four white legs without color patches, etc.).
After bringing her back, I found that this little “princess” was really hard to please. I bought her imported cat foods like Nutrience, Acana, Now, and Orijen, but she didn’t eat them. She not only refused domestic cat foods like Purina, Royal Canin, and Natures Miracle, but also occasionally vomited when coaxed to eat them (so annoying…). She only likes freeze – dried food, and then canned food (but when she eats canned food, she doesn’t chew, just licks. I once suspected that she had Down syndrome in cats). Sometimes, if she eats the wrong thing, she will have diarrhea or soft stools (I envy those kittens in other families that can eat cat food with a loud munching sound). My little “princess” is really a delicate one (maybe all beauties have a lot of requirements and are hard to serve).

Every day, she eats, sleeps, and then runs around the house like crazy after waking up. While running, she even makes “drifting” movements (I originally wanted to train her to be a lady, but now she is getting further and further away from that). She doesn’t sleep in the exclusive cat bed I bought for her and loves to crawl into cardboard boxes.
Recently, she doesn’t pee properly in the litter box anymore, but in a fixed corner (she still goes into the litter box to poop). I’ve tried many methods: spraying pet disinfectant in the corner, spraying cat – repellent spray, spraying water on her face when catching her in the act, and using toilet cleaner to get rid of the smell, but nothing worked… So I bought another litter box, and this little “princess” obediently went to the new litter box to pee. Well, I haven’t even achieved the separation of dry and wet areas in my own bathroom, but she has already started to have “dry – wet – separated” toilet habits…
Raising a cat is really a bitter – sweet experience. She makes me worry every day, but it still doesn’t affect my love for her. Finally, I wish everyone to have a cat soon.
