We have three British Shorthair blue cats at home, and let me tell you that they will make you experience a mix of love, hate, affection, and resentment!
When they first came, you would think: Wow, they are so small and cute. How could they possibly grow so big! They are extremely lively and run around everywhere every day! They are just like the cat version of a Husky!! Especially when you just get home, because they are not used to when you come back, as soon as they hear the sound of the door opening, they will rush towards you. And since you are just opening the door and can’t see them, they will directly crash into the door with their faces! Especially when the floor is really clean!!
After a month, you will find that they have grown so big! They are no longer the cute little kittens I knew! And gradually, they like to lie on your bed and take lazy naps more and more (I secretly hope they won’t get any fatter). But still, every time you come back, they will be at the door. This time, either they are already sitting there waiting or they will wobble over with their fat ~~

After another two months, you will find that being chubby is actually quite cute! And you can even pinch their fat!! But when you try to pick them up ~ Wow! You! Me! WHAT?! Immediately, thoughts like “Where am I? Who am I? What’s wrong with it?” will flash through your mind. And finally, you will think “How have you become so fat that I can’t pick you up anymore!!”
Because you see them every day and don’t notice that the pile of fat they have when they lie down seems to increase every day!! Now, every afternoon, when the sun just shines in and isn’t too dazzling, they lie right in the middle of your bed, and no matter how you try to move them, they won’t budge! You think, well, then I’ll just stroke their chin to make them happy. But then you find that when they are too happy, they actually drool!?! (I’m so dumbfounded!) But when you take a cat teaser wand to play with them, they will still wag their fat enthusiastically to play. However, if they are too tired, they will stick out their tongues and pant heavily like a dog, and their fat will also shake along.
But here’s something to note! If you ignore them for too long or are nicer to other cats! They will look at you with a disgruntled expression. If you want to pick them up, they will deliberately flick their tails at you! They are really so cute!! But as long as you pick them up and hug them, they will immediately become enthusiastic again!!
Overall, they are really too cute! Buying them is definitely worth it!! Just kidding! But they are really cute, and they can accompany you for 5 more years than a dog!! Although it’s very sad when they leave, at least you have given them a happy life!
