Congratulations to myself for getting Dafu. Applause~ Of course, I also want to thank the man behind me who helped me bring Dafu home.
Name: Guo Dafu
Gender: Male
Breed: British Shorthair
Birthday: May 24, 2018
Others: Unknown…
We brought Dafu home on the evening of August 3rd. It was really in a hurry. At that time, I was shopping in the supermarket for the food to take for the trip the next day. Then my friend said he wouldn’t be at home on the weekend. If I decided to take the kitten, I had to go and pick it up immediately. As an impatient person, I of course dragged my boyfriend who had just got off work and rushed there.
Actually, before this sudden event, I had been hesitating between getting a cat or a dog, and I wasn’t really sure if I could take care of a small pet patiently in the long term. After all, I thought I was quite lazy. And I also had to set aside a part of my monthly budget for it. But because my boyfriend was always busy with work, I really, really, really wanted to have a small pet to keep me company.

So, Dafu suddenly entered our lives~
Step 1
We took a taxi to my friend’s house. There were three little kittens~ When I first saw the picture, I actually liked the one on the far left in the picture below, the one huddled in the corner. I thought his expression was very vivid, looking like a poor little thing.
But when I really saw the three little kittens, I couldn’t tell them apart at all. In the end, I chose the one that was more active, hoping that he would have strong vitality! Since we weren’t well – prepared and didn’t have a cat carrier, we “carried” him back in a paper bag. When we were hailing a taxi by the roadside, I was really worried that he would run away. He was really restless. (This is the beginning of a sweet concern.)
This is the first photo I took of Dafu.
Step 2
Finally, finally, finally we got home. Now he wouldn’t get lost~
He lay on the sofa with a look of terror on his face.
I had to quickly find a temporary living place for him. I asked his previous owner, who suggested that we first keep him in a cage to get familiar with the environment. But I really didn’t prepare anything. Even the cat food and cat litter were bought casually in the supermarket when I suddenly decided to pick him up right away while I was shopping. Maybe there are quite a lot of people like me who get a pet without any preparation. In short, I was in a complete mess.
