The cat I brought home was about three months old. The six kittens, his siblings, were a beautiful accident. The owner who raised cats had a male and a female British Shorthair. The owner planned to take them both to be neutered. But after arriving at the hospital, it was discovered that the female was already pregnant. The owner was shocked at that time. Hahahaha.
However, the owner quickly took the female cat home and carefully took care of her until she gave birth. The mother cat gave birth to six kittens in total, and they all grew up very healthy and lively. The owner took very good care of them. Then, the father and mother cats were taken to be neutered… When the kittens were three months old, they were taken away by their respective owners. In the end, three were left. One of my best friends took two of them, with a gap of two or three days between each adoption. Just two or three days after the second one was taken home, I went to her house to play and stayed overnight. I was immediately charmed by the kittens and began to have the idea of raising one myself.

There was just one kitten left. But it was really strange. The second kitten my best friend took home had been hiding in the cracks and not coming out, not eating or drinking. It had been two and a half days. My best friend was afraid something bad would happen and was going to take it back and exchange it for another one. But on the night I went, it came out to play with me, followed me around, and even ate a little. At night, I slept with my best friend. Shortly before dawn, the chubby blue cat suddenly came over and slept on my chest. It also looked at me for a while. Later, we agreed to take the last kitten two days later. But the next day after I went back, my best friend called and said that the chubby blue cat wasn’t eating, drinking, or playing again.
She said it seemed to be close to me, so she asked me to take it. Somehow, I was also worried about what would happen if the cat didn’t eat. So that night, I asked my best friend to bring it to my home. Strangely, the chubby blue cat didn’t show any signs of being unfamiliar at my home. It ran around everywhere and even slept in my arms at night! I was really pleasantly surprised at that time.
Then I started the project of discussing a name change for the chubby blue cat. Because it was originally called Jiaozi (Dumpling) at my best friend’s house, but I’m not very creative and named it Tudou (Potato)! Hahahahaha. Then I started to buy everything it needed. Goodness, although I was short of money recently, I didn’t wrong it at all. I ate only one meal a day, and it was just a makeshift meal. But I served it with all kinds of imported cat food and cans. It ate happily.
The most peculiar thing is that my Potato loves bread, steamed buns, and pancakes very much, but doesn’t like fruits. Here are some pictures of when it first came. I’m not very good at taking pictures of still – life and other things, so the pictures aren’t very good.
