Because our cat is not only a blue cat but also a short – legged one.
This is what she looked like when she first came to our home. She was quite lively in the pet store, but when she got home, she turned out to be a lazy and not – very – smart cat who just liked to eat and sleep. Both my husband and I thought she might be the result of inbreeding. (Actually, now I think it’s quite nice that the cat is calm. She doesn’t cause trouble, doesn’t meow a lot, and is very clingy. She’s an angel cat.)
This is when she just got home. She was so small and cute.
Her sleeping postures are also all kinds of strange.
As a short – legged cat, she has a special skill: standing!
When she wants food, she stands. When she wants attention, she stands. When she gets scared, she stands. When she wants to show that she’s big and mighty, she stands. Once, I was sleeping, and when I opened my eyes, I saw her standing next to me. Do you know how scary that was…
Sometimes I really feel sorry for her. She’s always being dressed up forcefully by the two “two – legged beasts” (us).
But sometimes she also makes me angry… For example, one day my husband forgot to close the toilet door, and she got herself into the toilet. When we got home, we looked for the cat for half an hour. We even thought she had been flushed down the toilet. So we invited someone to come and take apart the toilet in the middle of the night, and the next day we sent her to take a bath…
She really knows how to get into trouble…
Maybe because I always tell her not to go to the bathroom or the balcony, she’s not as close to me anymore.
She’s really a little “goblin”.
Finally, here’s my current profile picture, a super – cute short – legged cutie. Every day when I get home, my heart melts.
Now a “cat boss” has come to our home, and her good days are over. Two months ago, we adopted a one – year – old British Shorthair cream – and – white cat, which weighs ten jin. Now they are still fighting for the family status.
It seems that the short – legged cat has a natural disadvantage! She can’t beat the other cat!!!!
