The Hilarious and Heartwarming Adventures with My Mischievous Cat

The Hilarious and Heartwarming Adventures with My Mischievous Cat

When the air – conditioner is not on, he’s like this, a “turtle – like cat” (a funny way to describe his lazy posture).

Update! Update immediately!

Tonight, when I was giving my husband a cupping treatment and holding a lighter, I suddenly wanted to scare my cat. But unexpectedly, he directly stuck his face out. I thought he would be afraid of the fire, so I didn’t have time to dodge. As a result, I singed two of his eyebrow hairs…

I was wrong. I was really wrong. My momentary whim led to a big mistake. Thanks to my cat for not holding a grudge and still jumping onto my chest to sleep as usual, although he has been eating a lot these days and his weight has been soaring…

(Oh, by the way, the girl from the cattery also said that we didn’t feed him fat enough, and that it would hurt more when giving injections, so we should fatten him up a bit… God knows how much exercise he gets every day. He’s like a sled dog in the cat world. But unfortunately, both my husband and I don’t like fat cats… Let nature take its course. As long as he’s healthy, that’s fine.)

My cat is a real “whiner”. He’s so good at acting cute and is also very talkative. He meows twice whenever something happens. He groans twice when he wakes up from sleep. I thought he was talking to me at first, but later I realized that he was just groaning for no particular reason.

He meows twice when he eats, twice when he drinks water, twice when he poops, and twice when he lies on my chest. He even gets close to my mouth and bites my face.

I often find him peeking at me. Once he’s discovered, he immediately scratches the things beside him, pretending to be sharpening his claws. ๑乛◡乛๑

When he first came to our home, he slept very cautiously, lying there in a proper way. Now, he’s become extremely lively.

He eats small meals frequently. I’ve never worried about his eating, drinking, pooping, or peeing. But he can’t resist the temptation of nutritional paste.

A few days ago, he went to get his first combined vaccine shot. When he came back, he was listless. He would meow as soon as he was touched, looking like it really hurt. My husband and I were so worried that we even inserted a thermometer into his butt (damn it, he had just pooped). It was 39.5 degrees Celsius, which is within the normal range for a kitten. We felt a bit relieved.

The next afternoon, when he woke up from a nap, he suddenly came back to life, jumping around, being startled easily, and making a lot of noise. Even if we patted his head, he didn’t learn his lesson. The key is that he doesn’t hold grudges.

My husband and I were speechless…

How about… giving him another injection…

I made cat food for him to improve his diet.

PS: Some netizens pointed out that dry and wet cat food should be separated. Thank you! Biu

I knew someone would say that cats can’t eat onions!! Hahaha, there’s a kind of grass called cat grass.

But he doesn’t eat it.

I bought him a cat bed, but he doesn’t sleep in it. He only sleeps on my husband’s and my pillows. Even if we throw him off the bed, he jumps back up. We’re always afraid of crushing him every day.

He’s gradually growing into a handsome “guy”. The yellow color in his eyes is becoming more obvious. I hope he grows up healthily. As his “litter – box cleaner”, I’ll be at his beck and call for a lifetime.

Update on September 29, 2019

We’ve been sleeping in separate rooms these days.

He always makes a fuss before we go to sleep and rubs our faces in the middle of the night, which really affects our sleep quality. So we locked him in the living room.

He’s already a talkative cat, and he kept meowing outside. It’s so tiring.

But as long as both of us get used to it, it’s okay. Besides, it can also reduce the probability of him getting beaten or being over – petted.

Yesterday, I took him to get his last combined vaccine shot and the rabies vaccine. He was poked four times in total.

The rabies vaccine really hurt. He trembled violently the first two times and even shook the needle out. Finally, someone else (the cattery owner’s wife) came and calmed him down for a few minutes, and then quickly finished the injection.

After coming back, he showed no adverse reactions at all. He was still full of energy, not allowing us to hold him or kiss him. He used all kinds of ways like scratching, biting, and kicking. I felt a little bit disappointed… Can’t I just have the pleasure of raising a well – behaved cat?

My husband said his forehead is so big that a cannon could be placed on it!

↑This photo somehow looks a lot like an alpaca. I don’t know why…

Anyway, cats are really mysterious. I’ll never know what’s in his little head. I treat him as a cute little thing, a precious little life. What does he think of me?

A perverted two – legged creature who forces affection?

Whatever. Anyway, there’s already a bond between us that’s absolutely hard to break.

I don’t care what you think. I only care about what I think.

He’s more than five months old now!

He’s started to eat cat grass, just like when I didn’t like coriander when I was a kid but now I’m crazy about it.

He just eats, sleeps, and “destroys” the house every day. I wish I could be a cat in my next life too~
