The Adorable and Lovable Life of My Cat, Dundan

The Adorable and Lovable Life of My Cat, Dundan

My little treasure is called Dundan. He’s five months old and weighs 6.5 jin. He has an appetite like a pig, a personality like a dog, loves parkour, enjoys “dancing”, and likes role – playing (where he’s the mouse and I’m the cat).

You ask me what the experience is like? Well, ever since I got this little guy, overtime work is out of the question. I leave work on time and rush home, eager to pet my cat. Only petting the cat can make me happy. As soon as I get home, I hold him in my arms and take a big sniff. Ah, I feel alive again.

Let me share a few more photos of this little cutie. You can always find him in unexpected places. Hahaha.

My encounter with Dundan was purely by chance. I was scrolling through Weibo and saw a video posted by the original owner selling cats. I decided to ask about it. And guess what! She sent me a photo, and I immediately decided that I had to bring one of them home.

Dundan is the middle one in the photo. The reason I chose him was simply that he was the only male among the three kittens. (Since it was my first time raising a cat, I thought a male cat would be easier to take care of.)

At that time, Dundan was two and a half months old. I brought him home at night, and he meowed all the way. My boyfriend and I were mentally prepared for him to howl for a few days. But this little guy stopped meowing as soon as he arrived home and started “inspecting” the place like a leader. (Actually, he was just getting familiar with the environment. Hahaha.) I bought some pet biscuits, cat treats, and a cat teaser to bond with him. It really worked. Now, let’s look at the photos.

On the way back home, looking small, pitiful, and helpless.

After arriving home, starting his “leadership inspection”.

Huh, who are you?

Eating so much that his eyes squint. Hahaha.

What’s this again?

Tired and wanting to sleep.

Fell asleep.

Maybe because Dundan’s mother only gave birth to three kittens, there was plenty of milk. Dundan is very healthy. When I brought him home, he was almost three months old, and his socialization was already complete. Raising him is just one word: worry – free!

He’s been here for almost three months, and he hasn’t been sick even once, not even had diarrhea. So, I haven’t encountered any of the problems that new cat owners usually face. (Feeling proud.) He’s not picky about food and will eat anything, like a little garbage can. He has an extremely good temper and allows people to play with him however they want. He’s never gotten angry, never bared his teeth, and doesn’t guard his food. (Not only does he not guard his food, but when he’s eating and you come close, he even gives you some space. Hahaha.) He’s very clingy, especially on weekends when I’m at home. He must play within my sight.

All in all, he’s a little angel. Watching him sleep is cute, watching him eat is cute, and watching him drink water with that “prprpr” sound is also cute. It’s full of happiness.
