My Adorable and Lovable Cat, Doudou

My Adorable and Lovable Cat, Doudou

It’s really heart – warming. Just thinking about him makes my heart melt. My cat is a little male cat. He’s one year and three months old, and his name is Doudou.

When Doudou first arrived home, he was less than two months old. He didn’t eat or drink and hid under the sofa. Since it was my first time being a cat – feeder and I had no experience, I was really worried. I had to tie him with a shoelace and put cat food and water in front of him.

After about two days, he finally started eating. As a “cat – mom”, I was finally relieved.

After he got familiar with the environment, I found out that he was a really naughty guy. He wanted to go everywhere and was very clingy, like a little tail. When he was little, he especially liked that fruit plate. He would sit in it whenever he was free. As soon as we started having a meal, he would immediately sit upright in the fruit plate, watching us eat and sometimes even coming over to smell. He also liked to sleep in it. Later, as he grew fatter and couldn’t fit in anymore, he had to give it up.

He’s a little glutton and loves canned food very much. “Hey, cat – feeder, hurry up and bring the canned food here!”

At home, he’s extremely bold and full of energy, but when he goes out, he’s as timid as a mouse, a complete coward. I took him out for a walk once, but this guy kept shaking there and just lay on the ground, refusing to move. As a “cat – mom”, I had to carry him home, and I was so tired that my back and waist ached.

Every day when I come home, before I even enter the door, I can hear Doudou’s eager meows. When I open the door, he immediately lies down on the ground, asking for pets, and purring happily.

He’s a real clingy one. He even follows me when I go to the toilet. When you’re using the toilet, he’ll jump onto the water tank of the toilet and silently watch you, and sometimes he’ll tilt his head cutely.

When I’m cooking in the kitchen, he’ll jump onto the storage shelf and quietly stare at you, meowing from time to time.

He’s an outgoing cat. Whenever he has any needs, he’ll meow at you. If you call his name, he’ll respond. After pooping, he’ll immediately run up to me and meow, “Cat – feeder, go and clean up my poop quickly.” As soon as I get home every day, he poops right away. When he wants to go to the balcony, he’ll also meow at me, “Cat – feeder, quickly open the door for me. I want to go out for a walk.”

Because a friend wanted Doudou’s kittens, last month I let him “date” a female cat. Both cats were new to this and had no experience. After a whole month, after being beaten countless times, Doudou finally successfully became a father. Knowing that it was his girlfriend, he was quite a gentleman. Hahaha.

All in all, just thinking about Doudou makes me feel so warm, as if I’ve raised a lovely baby.

Update. Lala, on October 23, 2019, my Doudou’s kittens were born. For the first time being a father, he suddenly had five babies. He was so happy. I feel like I’ve been promoted to a “cat – grandma”, so excited. The little blue kittens look so cute.

PS: Another one was born. This time, it should be all. The little babies are all scrambling to nurse.

October 30, 2019. He likes to play “fighting” with people. To avoid getting scratched, I don’t use my hands anymore and have changed to using a cat teaser.

Here are some more daily photos of Doudou’s kittens, sunbathing.
