I picked up this cat, or to be more accurate, my dog picked it up.
One night, I went for a walk with my mother and our little Bichon Frise.I took a look and saw a cat sitting there, looking down at our dog. When I went over and touched it, it didn’t run away or show aggression. It was just extremely thin, just skin and bones. Then I quickly went home to get a dog carrier and took it to the hospital for a bath and a check – up.
There were so many fleas on it! I’ve raised dogs for many years, but I’ve never raised a cat before. When I got to the hospital, I learned that it was a British Shorthair blue – and – white. Since there are many dogs at home, I basically have all kinds of medicine. After going home, I sprayed Frontline and isolated it. The next day, there were shriveled flea corpses all over its body. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with its physical condition after the check – up at the hospital, and its ears were very clean. I was also worried that the cat wouldn’t get along with the dogs. But after about a month, the cat started to act like a dog. Now, more than half a year has passed, and it even chases and plays with the dogs sometimes. Sometimes it even hides in the corner and launches surprise attacks on the dogs.

This was when I first picked it up and brought it home. It was so thin. It wouldn’t eat dried small fish or canned food. It would only lick a little when I fed it by hand.
This is what it looks like now. It’s really fat. I use a bowl that comes with a stainless – steel rice cooker. I fill it up for it every day, and it can basically finish it in a day and a half. The litter box is also full in just one day. After raising a cat, I learned that cat poop is really stinky. If you choose the wrong cat litter, it can really stink you to the point of fainting. It’s much more lethal than dog poop.
Now everything is fine. The cat has learned to act like a dog. When I get home, it will jump down and welcome me together with the dogs. Sometimes when I go out to walk the dogs, it will jump onto the windowsill and meow. But as soon as it sees me, it stops meowing.
After raising dogs for so many years, it’s really not easy to get used to raising a cat suddenly. At first, I was really worried. I wondered every day why the cat ate so little and why it ate so slowly. Now I realize that it’s a slow – to – warm – up type.
