On the first day, I noticed that it always kept its eyes squinted. On the second day, it started to lose its temper at home, hiding and meowing loudly. It must have been in great pain, so I quickly took it to the hospital. After the examination, a small hole was found on the eyeball. At first, the doctor prescribed eye drops. However, after a week, the condition deteriorated. The entire eye was covered with a white film and became cloudy. When I took it to the doctor again, the doctor said that surgery was needed.
Fluorescent staining revealed that the eyeball was damaged.
Before the surgery, it was in the cage, looking extremely scared.
The eye was bandaged up.
It helped me test the color of a new lipstick.
It was waiting for mom to pick it up.
The first time to remove the stitches, the wound couldn’t be seen from the outside and could only be examined by opening it. The doctor helped me open it and found that it hadn’t fully healed yet, so it was sewn up again…

Fortunately, the outcome was good. Now it’s basically impossible to tell that its eye was once injured. Love you!
Before the surgery, the eye became foggy.
Removing the stitches.
Recovering at home.
Then Timor got a “wife”. Lanmei, a little female cat, came to our home. Because of the lesson from the first time, we brought Lanmei home when she was almost three to four months old. The two little cats got along very well…
Waiting for snacks together.
Charming sleeping postures.
Both of them love to occupy the keyboard.
Warm winter days.
Kisses, kisses, kisses.
The two little darlings grew up together, being affectionate with each other. I was eagerly looking forward to the day when I would become a “grandma”. But until I came back after a six – month business trip, my mother told me a piece of shocking news. Timor couldn’t mate… He couldn’t find the right position. When Lanmei wasn’t in heat, he would ride on her every day. But as soon as Lanmei was in heat and meowed to look for him, he would run away and hide… I had to force a smile.
It just eats and sleeps all day, achieving nothing in important matters and making no contribution to the family at all!
It also learned to bully Lanmei. I had thought it would be a sweet love story…
But I still love them so much…
I’m used to being woken up by Timor’s purring every day. In the morning, if Lanmei doesn’t see me, she will scratch the door. My mother told me that the two of them can recognize my footsteps. When I come back, they will crawl out of their little nests to greet me (most of the time, Timor is too lazy and just gives a glance with his eyes… I’m so touched). The cats have become an indispensable part of my life. Although Timor pees on the bed when he’s in heat and my mother still dislikes it, when Lanmei broke something, I thought she would scold, but instead, she stood at the kitchen door and told me to check the cats to see if their paws were scratched…
Usually, when there’s no one at home, I have no one to talk to when I get back. It’s them who give me the best company. Crying while hugging Lanmei’s chubby little belly, I feel that nothing is a big deal. The joy of raising cats can probably only be felt by those who have experienced it. They always bring you all kinds of little surprises, like the shiny little stars hanging on the silk thread.
My dearest Timor and Lanmei… Please live a healthy life…
Recently, the problem of Timor peeing on the bed has been solved. I’m so happy.
