I’m really annoyed when others argue with me. I just answered my views on this question. If you have other ideas, go and answer it yourself. Why are you arguing with me here? There are blue British Shorthairs priced at a few hundred yuan and those at tens of thousands of yuan. They all eat cat food and drink water. Even if there is a difference in cost, how big can it be?
So, its price is affected by a great many factors. I just briefly stated some reasons that I think led to the general price drop of blue British Shorthairs. If you have objections, hold them in. If you can’t, go and answer the question. Why are you arguing about economics under my answer? I’m not good at studying, and I don’t understand, okay? I’m not worthy of talking to you. Stop nagging at me. I’m just an ordinary cat – owner without much knowledge. I just need to take good care of my cats. I didn’t say absolutely that only my answer is right and others’ are wrong. Why are you arguing with me??? Is freedom of speech not allowed???
First of all, the so – called “worthlessness” of blue British Shorthairs is relative.
Because this breed is widely known by everyone.

There are many people breeding this breed, which leads to a large number of cats, and then the price drops.
However, a blue British Shorthair with a good appearance and good bloodlines is not cheaper than any other cat.
Whether it is cheap or not depends on the value and cost of the cat and other reasons.
I bought my male and female cats for 800 yuan each, and their kittens are sold within 1000 yuan.
If I bought my breeding cats for 20,000 yuan each, it’s definitely impossible to sell their kittens for 800 yuan each.
So, it’s not that blue British Shorthairs are necessarily cheap.
I know that blue British Shorthairs with CFA – certified bloodlines are priced at over 15,000 yuan.
This shows that there are expensive ones.
Moreover, for blue British Shorthairs, the kittens born after breeding must be of this color.
There is no probability issue. For example, for blue – and – white British Shorthairs, there may not even be a single kitten with a perfect “zhengba” face, five – pink features, full – back coloring, and a connected white collar in a litter. With such a low probability, the price is naturally high.
For cats like blue British Shorthairs, which have a large number of offspring, no probability issues, and are easy to raise,
naturally become the lowest – threshold breed for the public to breed.
With more breeding and a larger number, the price goes down.
