I have two cats. It really depends on the cats’ personalities.
Generally speaking, silver shaded British Shorthairs shed more than blue British Shorthairs.
Individually, my silver shaded British Shorthair is rather timid. It wakes up at the slightest noise when sleeping. The blue British Shorthair is relatively lively and bold. It won’t wake up no matter how much you play with it while it’s asleep. My silver shaded British Shorthair has a sensitive stomach. It’s gluttonous but gets diarrhea every time it eats canned food. The blue British Shorthair has a good digestive system and eats regularly. It stops eating once it’s full. My silver shaded British Shorthair doesn’t like being held. It only rubs against me when it’s hungry. But I can hold the blue British Shorthair anytime.
It mainly depends on the personalities of the cats rather than the breeds.

Today, Baibai’s sleeping posture is as funny as Huihui’s. The two cats run around the house like crazy every day. PS: If there’s only one cat, it won’t do this. But when there are two, they chase and play with each other, making all kinds of noises.
They’re really adorable. However, the kittens were weak when I bought them. I didn’t know at that time. I brought them home when they were just two months old and had just been weaned. As a result, they were often sick. Gastroenteritis, indigestion, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, and colds were all common problems. It really worried me a lot.
Guys, I was wrong. The silver shaded British Shorthair is really clingy. Maybe it wasn’t clingy at first because it wasn’t familiar with me?
Now, I can hardly work or even go to the toilet.
When I’m working, it says, “Let me see what you’re looking at? I want to sleep on your hand.”
When I’m in the toilet… “Cat – owner, don’t leave me alone. I want a hug.”
The two cats and I have “human – cat battles” every day. I have to eat, go to the toilet, and work quietly while the cats are sleeping, for fear that they’ll suddenly appear at my feet. Sigh.
