I have two cats. I got the blue British Shorthair first and then the silver shaded British Shorthair. Well, the silver shaded British Shorthair is more clingy, sheds more severely, and is relatively pickier about food compared to the “blue chubby”. Every time it’s mealtime, I have to coax it to eat.
The “blue chubby” eats everything. Its life mainly consists of sleeping, eating, or lying on the silver shaded British Shorthair to lick its fur. When the “blue chubby” was a kitten, it was quite lively and active, but when it grew up, it became always lazy. When I tease it with a cat – teaser stick, it just lies on the ground and lazily kicks with its paws twice. The silver shaded British Shorthair has been lively from childhood to adulthood. When teased with a cat – teaser stick, it can even perform an “aerial acrobatics”.
Although the “blue chubby” is lazy and gluttonous, it’s not stupid at all. It can turn off the computer and even teach the silver shaded British Shorthair kitten to do it.

But both cats are really cute. Both the silver shaded British Shorthair and the “blue chubby” have very good tempers. Their meows are also very cute. They like to be close to people. The “blue chubby” is not as clingy as before when it grew up, but it will definitely come to knead on your lap every morning and evening. The silver shaded British Shorthair has always been very clingy. As long as you are at home, it will definitely stay beside you. When you watch TV, it will climb onto you and watch TV with you.
As for me, I think both cats are easy to raise. They are both the apples of my eye ヽ (○^ ㉨ ^)ノ♪
…………………………Separation line……………………………………
What I said is just about my two cats. It doesn’t mean that all cats are like this. There are individual differences. But generally, silver shaded British Shorthairs shed more severely, and with the same appearance, silver shaded British Shorthairs are also more expensive.
Add a new set of current photos. The silver shaded British Shorthair is more than five months old, and the “blue chubby” is more than six months old.
At home, the “blue chubby” is more dominant. After all, in its eyes, it’s the original inhabitant. But when going out, the silver shaded British Shorthair kitten is much calmer. The “blue chubby” will even hide behind the silver shaded British Shorthair kitten. One is typically gentle on the outside but tough on the inside, and the other is fierce – looking but actually timid.
………………Gorgeous separation line…………………………………
In the blink of an eye, several months have passed again. After the “blue chubby” was sterilized, its weight soared. It’s already over twelve pounds, and even the doctor suggested that I help it lose weight.
The sad “blue chubby” after the weight – loss plan was implemented
When I say it’s fat, it will get angry and give me a roll of its eyes
The silver shaded British Shorthair has also gained weight, but not as extremely as the “blue chubby”.
It seems that both of them have grown out of their cute looks…
When friends come to my home to pet the cats, they usually like the “blue chubby” more. Because the “blue chubby” has such a unique personality. When it’s happy, it will play with you. When it’s not, it will give you a roll of its eyes. If you praise it, it will roll over and show its belly for you to play with. If you say it’s fat, it will immediately run away and squat in a corner, staring at you. The silver shaded British Shorthair kitten has always been affectionate and has a good temper. No matter what, it will stick to you. Maybe this makes it seem a bit “less precious”? As the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side.
Reminded by someone, it seems that my “blue chubby” is either angry or aggrieved. Let me post some pictures of it when it’s happy.
The “chubby” really likes to be praised. One night, I took it to play in the community square. Many people petted it and praised it for being cute. When we came back, it held its head high, looking very proud.
…………………Separation line…………
Before I knew it, a long time has passed again. The two little cats are almost three years old. The older one is funny, and the younger one is a clingy whining cat. The personalities of little cats are really inborn.
