My Experience of Raising a Bichon Frise: From Purchase to Growth

My Experience of Raising a Bichon Frise: From Purchase to Growth

I bought my Bichon Frise from a kennel for 2600 yuan when it was two and a half months old. It was really worth it. The little guy is very healthy and lively.

Just think, from the day the puppy was born until it’s two and a half months old, to raise it healthily, it needs vaccinations, dog food, and so on. There are indeed some costs in terms of labor and materials.

Although there are cheaper ones, some only cost a few hundred yuan. But unless I get a puppy directly from a well – known friend, I dare not raise it. I’m afraid that once I develop feelings for it, I’ll find it comes with many diseases. Not only will it cost a lot, but it also requires a great deal of energy.

Take my little Bichon Frise for example. In the first week after it came, except for being a bit shy on the first day, it was extremely lively later. It can be seen that the previous store owner raised it very healthily.

I took it to get a vaccination on the weekend. The next day, it gradually didn’t look well. It had a cough and a fever. Going to the hospital (hospital visits are really expensive), getting medicine, and I couldn’t sleep well at night watching it lying in the nest, looking so small. I was really worried. After three days, it got much better, and my mood returned to normal.

So, if you want to raise a dog, it’s recommended to buy one from an acquaintance or a kennel. A healthy puppy is really necessary.

I’m going to attach photos of my puppy. It’s so cute!!!

When it first came, it was so small, and I was a bit at a loss about how to raise it.

Although the boss said to keep it in a cage for a week, looking at its innocent round eyes, I let it out for a stroll.

On the third day, it already wanted to get on the sofa. Humph, no way! You little dirty dog.

From a distance, it looks just like a plush toy.

When it was sick, it looked so uncomfortable.

Finally, it recovered. Look at its enchanting little body. Why does it sleep like this? I’m even worried it’ll get a stiff neck.
