My Adorable Bichon Frise: A Faithful and Lovable Companion

My Adorable Bichon Frise: A Faithful and Lovable Companion

Every day when I get home, my little Bichon Frise, Xiaoxiong, will greet me at the door. When left alone at home, it’s extremely well – behaved. I bought this little Bichon Frise puppy online. Now it has grown up. In the beginning, it needed constant care every day. Now that it has grown and is very familiar with our home, it even knows exactly when I go to work and when I come back. Almost every night, it will wait for me at the door. Around that time in the evening, Xiaoxiong starts to wander around near the door. As soon as it hears the sound of the key outside, without a doubt, it will sit right in front of the door. The moment I open the door, I can see it. This happens almost every day. After all, Xiaoxiong has been with me for such a long time that it can almost accurately predict the time I get home. It’s really smart.

After I get home, the first thing I do is to hold Xiaoxiong in my arms and then place it on the sofa. After putting it on the sofa and changing my clothes, I bring Xiaoxiong’s dog food and start feeding it. After taking a few bites, Xiaoxiong gets excited. Usually, this is a great opportunity to train it, and I must seize the moment. Otherwise, once it’s full, it won’t be as interested. Through training, Xiaoxiong has mastered several skills, like shaking hands with people. It can understand simple commands. These are the results of training it whenever I’m free after work. I’m still continuing to train it, teaching it more things little by little to improve our understanding and communication.

Sometimes Xiaoxiong throws tantrums. If it gets annoyed, it will ignore people. Calling it won’t work; it simply won’t respond. When Xiaoxiong is at home alone, it’s very obedient. It knows where to use the toilet and won’t poop everywhere. When it was a puppy, I had to clean up after it every day, but not anymore. When it’s alone, it usually sleeps. After waking up, it plays by itself at home without making a fuss. However, most of the time, it still sleeps in its kennel. When I sleep in on weekends, Xiaoxiong also sleeps in its kennel, and we don’t disturb each other.

It has a small exercise requirement and doesn’t need to be walked for long distances. It’s a great stress – reliever. Whenever I’m in a bad mood, seeing it instantly melts my heart. When I’m bored, it keeps me company. Also, it doesn’t shed much. After growing up, when it needs to use the toilet, it will sit at the door to hint to me. We always go outside to solve this problem. It doesn’t destroy things at home. I feel extremely healed to have the fortune of raising Xiaoxiong.
