Unanticipated Quirks of Raising a Golden Retriever

Unanticipated Quirks of Raising a Golden Retriever

Before raising a Golden Retriever, who could have known that they would be like this when asleep?

They love digging holes. Sitting in the hole must be really cool.

When taking a bath at the pet store, it really dislikes having its fur blown dry and looks a bit unhappy.

This is what a Golden Retriever looks like from below.

This is another one in the “Who could have known they’d be like this when asleep before raising a Golden Retriever” series.

It’s about to steal my kiwi, with its eyes dodging.

I think the next two pictures are really nice. Look closely, there’s a small bubble above its mouth.

Here is the original answer:

A two – month – old Golden Retriever is truly an angel when asleep and a devil when awake.

Take my little Zhang Danta as an example.

Adding a few pictures of it when it was a puppy. So cute, like a little angel.

Just had a bath.

The little devil is about to show up.

This is how it is when taking a car.

It wraps around my shoulder like a furry scarf. The key is, it’s hot summer, baby!

Before getting a dog, I thought a two – month – old Golden Retriever in the car would be like this, but it only lasted for a few seconds. Sigh, so many sad memories.

The little angel at a 45 – degree angle.

Such a cute photo must be taken with a food bowl beside my phone.

In fact, it bites everything it sees.

For example, it bites the small toy pillow (given with the dog kennel), the mop, the bench, the comb.

It really bites all the things at home. Besides those, it has bitten many data cables, all the table legs and cabinet corners at home, two TV remotes, many rolls of toilet paper, and even stole various snacks on the table…

Another important thing is that it wakes up at four or five o’clock in the morning, then whines, fidgets, and poops. Sometimes at twelve o’clock at night, it’s still excitedly biting the wallpaper.

How to endure? A dog is like a child. It can be naughty and naive when it’s young. But once you decide to raise it, you should be patient and accompany it to grow up. There must be times when it’s well – behaved as well as naughty.

Attaching a photo of my super – well – behaved big baby now.

I no longer need to carry the express delivery home by myself. I can just give it to my big baby.

Come on! We must treat our dogs well.
