My dog is named Qiqi, exactly 77. I bought him from a dog farm when he was two months old. (Whispering, you really shouldn’t buy dogs from dog farms.)
When he first came, he was such a tiny thing. I still remember the first time I saw him. He followed me obediently, acting extremely well – behaved, almost like a human.
However, I underestimated his intelligence and his ability to act like a human, and overestimated my own patience limit. His pleasure seems to be testing my bottom line.
On the first day after bringing the little guy home, he was so well – behaved. He stayed in the cage, not making a sound or moving. I thought he would always be such a cute and gentle boy. But perhaps due to fear and discomfort, he whined crazily at night. Poor little thing.

Three days later, all signs of cuteness and obedience were gone. Then, he started biting slippers, tearing paper, pooping and peeing everywhere, and at the same time, he would act cute, pretend to be pitiful, be greedy for food, not learn from being punished, and have a short memory. But he does hold grudges. Yes, he takes revenge on the spot.
Now, he’s almost four months old. He’s growing more and more handsome and becoming increasingly intelligent, with all sorts of little tricks up his sleeve. Our daily life is filled with battles of wits. He’s been punished a lot, but it doesn’t affect our love for each other.
Two weeks ago, I noticed that Qiqi started scratching himself frantically, and his skin began to break. I turned him over to carefully examine his fur and found many red spots on his inner limbs, belly, and ears. In just two days, his scratching escalated from a mild itch to a frantic frenzy, accompanied by shrill cries.
As a first – time dog owner, misled by Baidu, I thought the dog had fungal dermatitis. Based on recommendations from Zhihu and Baidu, I bought medicine on Taobao. On the fourth day, I found blood on the floor. He had scratched himself so hard that he bled. I was so scared that I immediately took him to the pet hospital, even though I was worried about being overcharged there before. As it turned out, the doctor said it wasn’t fungal dermatitis at all, but scabies. Then the doctor prescribed a spray and did deworming, and I took him home.
The first time I sprayed the medicine on him, he almost went crazy. The medicine was strong, and he screamed in pain. There was no other way. For the sake of his illness, I had to be tough. Alas, now he’s almost recovered. I just hope he’ll be healthy in the future.
