First of all, generally, the size of a dog is proportional to the size of its feces. If you raise a small – breed dog, a small plastic bag is enough for picking up feces when going out. At most, it might be about 100 grams at the extreme. However, if you have a medium – to – large – breed dog, you’ll end up collecting feces in a sack when you go out. It’s really overwhelming.
There aren’t many choices when it comes to small – breed dogs. Chihuahuas, Miniature Pinschers, and Pomeranians are extremely barky. In urban areas, most people live in apartment buildings. If a dog barks too much, it’s likely to cause dissatisfaction among neighbors. I used to be really fond of West Highland White Terriers. Ignoring the issue of their fur, their appearance and size seemed perfect. But then, one day when I was out, I saw one. The owner went into the public restroom, and another person was holding the dog. The dog sat right next to the toilet and started howling shrilly. The sound was so piercing. With that powerful voice, it’s really not suitable for being raised. Teddy dogs are moderately barky. They don’t bark as frequently as Chihuahuas, and when they do bark, their sound is softer than that of medium – to – large – breed dogs like Samoyeds. Of course, the biggest advantage of large dogs is that they don’t bark much, but even if you walk them on a leash, people may still complain that they’re scared.

Yorkshire Terriers are cute, but the silky hair of Silky Terriers is extremely difficult to take care of. The same goes for Maltese and all other breeds with silky hair. Just imagine how many times you need to comb your hair every day to keep it smooth and straight after getting a hair straightening treatment.
All straight – haired dogs shed a lot. During the season change, there will be hair all over the house, which is really hard to deal with. For example, there’s a small breed whose scientific name I don’t know, those little yellow dogs often depicted in the Mushroom House with pots and pans. Corgis, Pomeranians, and similar breeds also fall into this category.
The greatest advantage of Teddy dogs is that they don’t shed. I’m moderately allergic. Due to my allergy, I can’t keep a cat because I’m afraid of the hair floating in the air. I’m even allergic to hamsters. However, Teddy dogs really don’t shed. We think the curly hair of Teddy dogs is just like the hair of black people. Those little curly hairs are like small steel wool balls, which is really nice.
Teddy dogs can also be transported on international flights. Many small – breed dogs like Pekingese and Shar – Peis are on the no – fly lists of airlines. As a result, it’s impossible to travel with your dog.
Speaking of intelligence, Teddy dogs are above – average in terms of interactivity. Some smart ones can learn many commands and have a high level of obedience. They’re not like Border Collies, which are overly intelligent but have strong wills and only obey when they’re in the mood. There are also dogs with lower intelligence and obedience levels, which aren’t very suitable for home – keeping.
