When my grandfather was alive, our family always had cats. You could say that my mother grew up accompanied by cats. My mother has a close friend, an aunt who said that girls at that time had to help with housework at home. But when she came to our house to play as a child, she was really envious because my mother would just hold the cat and play instead of doing anything else.
Then there’s my boyfriend. He really loves cats. Actually, he also likes dogs a lot, but he’s too lazy. Walking a dog would require too much exercise for him… (smiling face)
When we were in the flirting stage, he got an American Shorthair. Later, when I asked him, he admitted that, first, he liked cats and had always wanted to have one. Second, he knew I liked them and wanted to attract my attention.
Our cat is two and a half years old now and looks like this ↓
He’s really an incredibly cute treasure, well – behaved and sensible. He even tries to mediate when we quarrel. Then it’s time for the little tabby cat to make an appearance.
==========Cut・・・・・・・・========
At the beginning of this year, there was a heavy snowfall. He accompanied me back home. At that time, a cousin – uncle of mine was seriously ill, so we bought some things and went to the hospital to visit him. Just as we came out of the inpatient department and walked near the parking lot where ambulances were parked, we suddenly heard a sharp meowing sound. Both of us are quite sensitive to such sounds, so we immediately started looking for the source. Then we found a little tabby cat lying beside a snowdrift behind an ambulance. It was extremely small, probably only about ten – odd days old.

Our first reaction was that it was so pitiful. In such cold weather, if no one took care of it, it might freeze to death. So, we immediately decided to take it home. But the kitten was shy of strangers and kept hiding from us under the ambulance. Sometimes, it even hid on the wheel… It was quite difficult to catch.
Fortunately, the security guard uncle at the hospital was very kind – hearted. He saw us fiddling around the ambulance for a long time and brought a mop, gesturing for us to use the mop stick to drive the kitten out. He also said that he often heard the kitten meowing, but it would run away as soon as he approached…
Anyway, we finally caught the little guy. Just then, my dad came to pick us up at the hospital by car. So, I found a paper bag in my dad’s car and carried the little one back.
The little cat was probably too small at that time. Its body was covered in its own urine, and its eyes looked so innocent ↓
