The Story of How I Adopted My Lively Tabby Cat

At first, I just thought that the local breed passed down from ancient times was easy to raise. Hahaha. Since it was my first time to raise a cat and I was quite busy with work, I felt that the artificially – bred breeds were relatively delicate, and I also heard about the problem of genetic diseases.

So I decided to adopt a cat without hesitation! But among so many coat colors, why did I choose a tabby cat? It was really fate | ᐕ)୨. Actually, I wasn’t interested in all – black tabbies before because I thought they were too ordinary. I’m really sorry about that. I originally took a fancy to a tuxedo cat. But when it was time to pick it up, the rescuer said that the girl who found the cat was reluctant and backed out. Maybe it was really not meant to be (;・͈́༚・͈̀).

Later, I saw a litter of kittens on Weibo. Considering their personalities, I thought the little orange one and this little black tabby in my family were quite nice. But I preferred the little orange one (つ∀*). As a result, the little orange one was reserved first. In fact, there were more beautiful kittens in the same litter. But I thought personality was more important, so I still chose this one. Later, I realized I was too naive. QAQ I was fooled by the adopter’s words.

Hahaha. Here is the adoption notice from the rescuer at that time. It doesn’t just meow when it wants to be cute (つ∀). It almost meows all the time (⌯᷄௰⌯᷅). I don’t even know how I managed to get through those first few days when I could only sleep for about two hours intermittently. But at that time, I thought it was understandable that it was less than two months old and had just left its mother and littermates, so it must have felt insecure.

Now I’ve raised it for more than half a year. Facts have proved that it’s really easy to raise. But I never expected it to be a little devil ( Ĭ ^ Ĭ ). It’s not only tough but also as naughty as a little monkey. QAQ Now my daily life is filled with it biting me, hitting me, and knocking things off the table (つ∀`). I can only comfort myself that after all, I raised it, so we have to make do. What else can I do? ( ･᷄৺･᷅ )
