I started feeding stray cats in the community because I took a fancy to this little guy.
At that time, there were several cats that often came to eat cat food, but only it was the closest to me. It didn’t guard its food, and after eating, it would rub against my legs. Later, when I picked it up and placed it on my lap, it would lie there and fall asleep. I sat there for two hours, and it slept on my lap for the same amount of time.
I did think about taking it home to raise, but every time I brought it back, it would be so scared that it would find a dark corner to hide in and let out extremely loud and miserable cries. So, I gave up the idea.

Then, one day, I got back from overtime work at around 10:00 – 11:00 p.m. I saw a little black cat at the door, probably three or four months old. I opened the door, and it followed me inside. It even walked around the room as if it was inspecting its territory. At that time, I was in a hurry to feed the tabby cat mentioned above, so I took the cat food and went out, leaving the little black cat in the house.
I thought that when I came back and opened the door, it (the little black cat) would run away.
But to my surprise, it wasn’t afraid at all.
That night, it lay down beside my pillow and slept.

In the middle of the night, I vaguely heard strange noises. When I turned on the light, I saw the little black cat jump off the bed and vomit on the floor. It had vomited several times. I picked it up and said to it, “Don’t worry. I will definitely find a way to cure you.”
The next day was Friday. I took half a day off in the afternoon and bought chicken and eggs, but it didn’t eat and kept vomiting.
On Friday night, I saw it vomit out a section of rubber band. After that, it gradually regained its appetite.
On Saturday morning, I took it to the pet hospital for a check – up. Well, it was healthy.

At that time, this little guy weighed only 1100 grams. One month later, it had gained more than 300 grams. After getting three rounds of vaccinations (six weeks later), it was almost 7 jin. Kittens really grow fast.
Of course, after having this little master, I still went to feed the tabby cat every day.
This year, after I came back from my hometown a few days after the Spring Festival, when I saw the tabby cat again, I found that it had a lot of snot and tears. I took it to the pet hospital for an examination, and it turned out to be infected with feline herpesvirus (cat cold). After being hospitalized for 10 days and getting cured, it naturally became my other little master.

Oh, the black cat is named Meiqiu. It’s male and has been neutered. The tabby cat is named Huniu. It’s female and hasn’t been spayed yet.
