The Heartwarming Story of My Adorable Cat, Yogurt

The Heartwarming Story of My Adorable Cat, Yogurt

Hahahahaha, because when I brought her back, she was already a tabby cat. Actually, I’m not that particular about cat breeds. It would be great if I had a pure – bred cat, but if not, I just go with the flow. Our Yogurt was given to me by my sister. Yogurt is actually a mixed – breed cat, but her tabby – colored fur is very distinct. My sister has a female American Shorthair cat. They have a yard at home, and the cat is occasionally let out to play. During the estrus period, we didn’t watch her closely enough, and she got pregnant after being courted by a wild cat. So my sister said she would give me one of the kittens, and I accepted.

Then I found out she was a tabby cat. I don’t know what Yogurt’s father looks like. He should also be a very beautiful tabby cat!

Here are some pictures. I have a special album in my phone called “My Dearest Yogurt”. Hahaha, it’s full of her photos.

Most of them are pictures of her sleeping on the bed.

As a girl, she doesn’t seem to care about her image at all.

Her sleeping postures are really quite unrestrained!!

I made this picture into an emoji. Hhhhh, I think it’s super cute.

Whenever I lie on the bed playing with my phone, she really likes to lie on me and sleep. Sometimes she puts her head on my neck. It’s so warm and makes me feel at ease. She also often steps on me when she walks and rubs her fur all over my mouth. She’ll be four months old soon. She was born on April 19th, 2018.

These three pictures were given to me by my sister. She was so small at that time. Isn’t she super cute? The one eating is her mother, named Lele. She’s a very, very good American Shorthair. Lele’s father was even a show – quality cat. The genes are really good. She’s extremely beautiful!

This is a picture of her on the first day she came to my home, in the cage. She was so timid that she didn’t dare to come out.

The picture above was taken when she was probably just two months old, a few days after coming to my home. She was hiding and didn’t dare to show herself. She was so cute!

Really, just having a cat makes me happy. I don’t expect a particular breed. Maybe I’m also worried that if I had a high – end cat, I might not be able to provide her with a corresponding lifestyle. Having a cat is like having a daughter, and I want to give her the best of everything. I often call her different names at home, like “my dear”, “baby”, “Yogurt”, “Cheng Yogurt”, “my daughter”. I have so many names for her.

My surname is Cheng, so my “daughter” takes my surname. Hahaha. Usually, when she’s being naughty, I’ll call her by her full name. She’s very good and smart. Since she came to my home early, she’s easy to teach and quick to learn. Whenever she does something wrong, if I say “No!”, she’ll stop right away. Or if I call her by her full name, she’ll also stop. When I call “Yogurt”, she’ll run towards me. The feeling of her running towards me is really indescribable. It’s so wonderful. She’s really my treasure.

In the morning, when she’s hungry, she’ll meow to wake me up and step on me. Then she’ll lie there, letting me pet her. I’ll say, “Okay, come on, let’s go eat.” And she’ll immediately jump off the bed and go to the balcony to find her bowl. The first time I said this, I didn’t believe she understood. But I tested it for three consecutive days, and she really understands the words “go eat”. When I tell her to go, she’ll obediently go. She’ll peek at me from the door to see if I’m following her, and then dash to the cat – scratching board next to her bowl on the balcony. I mix pre – biotics with her cat food and change her water. She’ll lie on the board scratching her claws. After I’m done and she’s finished scratching, she’ll start eating. Sometimes, I’ll comb her fur while she’s eating.

She’s really smart, well – behaved, and cute. When I see other people’s cats, I also think they’re very cute and well – behaved. But you know that your own cat is the best and the one you love the most.

Being a tabby cat is just an identity. As long as she’s my treasure, I’ll love her no matter what breed she is.

I’ve been typing for a long time. I originally thought of ending the story when I said having a cat makes me happy. But then, once I started thinking about it, I couldn’t stop talking.

My love for my treasure is endless. Hahaha. I hope everyone will like her.
