The Adorable and Quirky Cat: A Four - Year Journey

The Adorable and Quirky Cat: A Four – Year Journey

I picked it up. I was waiting for a pass downstairs at a client’s place. The cat kept rubbing against my feet, and after meeting the client, I took it with me.

It’s smart, really smart. Just two months after I picked it up, it could open the sliding door.

Later, I took it home to raise. The doors at home all had handles, and it took a year for it to figure out how to open the handle – type doors. (If I didn’t let it into the room at night, it would bang on the door by itself. The handle moving up and down was really scary. Later, I even stopped closing the door when I slept.)

I raised it for four years. Last month, it opened the front door by itself and went out, never to come back.

This was what it looked like when we first met. It ran out from the grass and kept rubbing against my feet. It was obvious that it was hungry. After meeting the client, I carried it back.

After taking it to the pet hospital for a bath and deworming, it looked much neater.

The little guy was probably starving. It ate everything.

When I first picked it up, because it was thin, its head and ears seemed especially big. It didn’t look like a cat, but more like a little mouse.

I took it home during the National Day. It slept everywhere at home. Then, because I hadn’t rented a proper house yet, I left it at home for a month.

When I saw it again a month later, it had grown a lot.

It was extremely clingy… Wherever I lay, it would lie there too.

When I took it to my rented house, every time I took a bath, it would stand at the door watching me.

It was very easy to raise. It ate everything. As long as I was eating, it definitely had to have a taste.

Because it was so gluttonous, I didn’t dare to let it into the kitchen when I was cooking. (The meat you put on the chopping board would be snatched away in a second.) So I would shut it outside. At that time, it couldn’t open the sliding door yet and would meow anxiously outside.

“Hey, you have the guts, open the door!”

When someone sat down, it especially liked to lie down on their lap.

As it grew a bit older, its face started to round out.

When it was cold, it especially liked to stay next to the stove, the desk lamp, the small heater…

It had a strange habit of liking to chew on people’s feet…

When it was about one year old… It had grown this long…

Once my mom lost it. It was found half a month later, and it had become so thin from hunger. I felt so bad for it.

It especially liked to bite clothes. After it chewed my clothes to pieces, I was so angry that I cut the clothes and put them on it. After putting it on, the cat was completely stunned and couldn’t even stand up.

As long as there was a suitable gap, it could stay there.

“Hey, you’ve got a pair of cat – shoes.”

I especially loved watching it sleep.

Lying on its side

Sleeping on its back with all four legs in the air

Sleeping while hugging a teddy bear

Sleeping on you

Sleeping with its butt facing you

Sleeping in a bag

Sleeping in a yoga – like pose

Sleeping in a silly way…

Occasionally, I would take it out for a while. We ran into a wild cat…

When I brushed my teeth, it had to stay on my shoulder…

Once, on a whim, I drew a picture of it… And then… It tore it up… (Okay, I know the drawing was ugly, but you don’t have to be so excited…)

Once I was on a business trip for half a month and left it at a friend’s dormitory. My friend said that every time he went back, he would see this face…

Looking guilty when being scolded for making a mistake…

It shed a lot of hair in summer, so I shaved it once.

I also picked up a little cat in the middle. It was a lame one, with its hind legs kneeling on the ground. After raising it for a month, it suddenly disappeared…

It looks cute, right?

High – energy warning after a bath…

Looking aggrieved when going to the pet hospital…

As long as I lay down, I could often see this face…

No matter what you’re doing, if it can stay on you, it will never stay on the ground…

Later, it became more and more aloof…

Looking at the scenery, ignoring me…

Ignoring me in the car

Occasionally, when it wanted to sleep with you, it would rub against you…

It especially liked to lie on the armrest of the sofa

Or lie on the bed

It looks quite fat, right? But actually, it weighed less than six pounds…

When preparing to feed it deworming medicine…

It shed a lot of hair every summer. I combed it with a glove, and there was already a big clump of hair. And it would come over to smell it by itself.
