Memories of My Little Dragon Li Cat: From Adoption to Loss

Memories of My Little Dragon Li Cat: From Adoption to Loss

Please stop liking this post. He passed away from food poisoning.

Dafei (the other cat) was also sent away.

I really can’t bear the departure of a life.

Thank you all.

I’m showing off my cat again (´▽`).

Just couldn’t resist.

First, a selfie.

Then, a magical sleeping posture.

It’s super obedient when I cut its toenails.

It was he who chose us…

One day, when I was at work, my husband sent me a photo. This little guy was on a park bench, covered in glue, all sticky.

We took him home and gave him a bath, but not a bit of it came off. We didn’t know what it was.

We found a cardboard box for him. The dog insisted on squeezing in, but he didn’t hiss at the dog. He just quietly licked his fur.

Since we were renting a house, my husband and I discussed releasing him. If he stayed around, we would feed him every day. We were worried that if he pooped and peed everywhere at home and caused damage, it would be troublesome when we moved out.

So we bought an ordinary flea collar for him and let him out. After that, my husband was worried and went downstairs to look for him. He searched for a long time but couldn’t find him. He told me it seemed we didn’t have the fate.

Unexpectedly, either the next day or the morning of the third day, he came back by himself. We didn’t know how long he had been at the door. When he heard movement inside, he meowed. We carried him in, and he took over the dog’s nest.

Now he looks like this.

After raising him at home, before we had time to buy cat litter, he would relieve himself in a fixed place every day. Except for accidentally breaking my husband’s French press once due to a miscalculation, he didn’t cause any other damage. He was really well – behaved.

Every night, before we went to sleep, he would lie on my chest, hug my neck, and sleep for a while. When we fell asleep, he would find a comfortable place to sleep on his own.

He likes to hold my hand and chew on it for fun.

Compared to the other big and fat cat at home, I especially dote on this little Dragon Li cat.

The gloomy big fat cat.
