It’s really easy to raise.
When I first found Anan, its eyes hadn’t even opened yet.
It must have been born not long ago.
I found this poor little meowing cat on the roadside outside. With its eyes still closed, I made a simple nest with a shoebox.
Fortunately, it was summer, so it wasn’t too cold.
But I was still very worried that it wouldn’t make it through.
Thankfully, a friend of mine had a cat that had just given birth. So I took the kitten to my friend’s house to nurse from the mother cat.
When it was weaned, I brought it home. And it grew up slowly.
Not long before I found Anan, my family had already picked up a tuxedo cat.
And then they became friends, siblings, or perhaps enemies.
Hahahaha
The tuxedo cat is very greedy.
Whatever you’re eating, it will be right beside you, meowing non – stop until you give it something to eat.
The Dragon Li cat, Anan, isn’t like that. It just quietly eats its cat food.
Until one day, I noticed that it wasn’t in a good mood.
It would quietly hide in a corner all by itself. (Although it usually liked to hide in a corner on its own.)
It would squat by the water basin, just staring at the water without drinking, and seemed to be in a daze.
It didn’t eat either. And it kept drooling this really stinky saliva.
Its mood was bad, and it didn’t even use the litter box.
I searched on Baidu: “Why does a cat keep staring at water but not drink?”
The answer said it was “water – gazing syndrome”, and that this was how a cat behaved before it died.

Oh my god, I was so scared.
I didn’t dare to delay and took it to the clinic right away.
They did some kind of test and said it had cat plague and also stomatitis.
The stomatitis was so severe that the entire tip of its tongue was rotted away.
I felt so heart – broken.
I thought this was why it wasn’t eating, just staring at the water without drinking, and drooling stinky saliva.
Plus, from what I read on Baidu about how serious cat plague was, and thinking about how this poor thing was thrown on the street when it was so small, and had just managed to survive, but now was suffering like this without having had a good life yet.
I really felt sorry for it and secretly wiped away my tears.
Later, I accepted the doctor’s treatment plan.
Since I had just started making money and was short on cash, I chose the most conservative treatment.
I took it to the clinic every day for an injection, and also used some kind of metronidazole solution (or something) at home to 消炎 its mouth.
After about three or four days, it started to improve.
It would eat a little on its own and groom itself.

Because it might infect the tuxedo cat, I isolated it in a cage first.
After persevering through 7 injections, it fully recovered.
It’s so strong. It’s been strong since it was a kitten.
Now, it’s jumping around everywhere.
It even sleeps with its eyes open.
Caught in the act of being secretly photographed, waking up from its sleep.
Hahahaha
It likes to stuff itself into boxes.
On winter afternoons, we soak up the sun together.
The tuxedo cat has just been neutered.

It’s starting to go into heat, so it’s going to be caught and neutered too.
Hahaha
I’ve rambled on a lot.
Finally, it’s really easy to raise. Its constitution is great.
I give it a thumbs – up.
Finally, here are two beautiful photos of it.
