The Unforgettable Memory of Caihua, My Adorable Cat

The Unforgettable Memory of Caihua, My Adorable Cat

Although it’s not a tabby cat, it’s still a Chinese rural cat.

It’s so cute. Let me put a picture first.

At first glance, it doesn’t seem like a well – behaved cat, right? That’s what my classmates think.

It’s so cool and flirty. Here’s a heart for you.

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

When it first came to my home (tsk tsk)

It always secretly got into my bed, looking at me with those weak and innocent eyes. Later, my mother couldn’t stand it anymore and arranged a place for it. Hahaha (My friend said: “This picture shows too much love.”)

It was also very sly (◦˙▽˙◦)

It grew up from a tiny little thing.

When it got a bit bigger (with a charming look: “Woman, you’ve disturbed my mood.”)

Caihua hardly meowed and was very quiet (*σ´∀`)σ

(Of course, it also paid little attention to people. Later, I learned that a cat’s hearing is very sensitive. When I called it and it didn’t respond, it wasn’t that it didn’t hear me, but that it didn’t want to bother with me.) ⊙ω⊙ A surprised face

This handsome cat when he’s asleep (This sleeping face doesn’t quite match his usual handsome and aloof look.)

The origin of the name Caihua:

My mother first called it Huahua, but she insisted that it should take her surname. So, it was happily named Caihua. Of course, you can also call it Caihuahua.

Now, let me share some of our daily moments:

Caihua staring intently at a cherry tomato:

Caihua being “choked” by me:

Caihua sneaking into the backyard of our hometown to find a female cat:

Caihua coming back after a date with his little girlfriend during the day (ahem…):

Caihua being sexy and charming:

That’s all for our story.

One day, after taking a bath, it ran away. Our whole family waited for it for a long time, but it never came back.

Just like that, it left.

I’m always thinking, did it really hate my home, a place where it was always bathed (it didn’t like taking baths)?

Even now, almost half a year after it left, I still think of it from time to time, thinking of all the happiness it brought me.

I always remember the first time we made eye contact, the first time I touched its soft, un – molted fur, and the first time it got into my bed and slept on my shoulder…

The changes it brought to my life are probably:

“My world has become more wonderful and indescribable.”

It touched the softest part of my heart.

They say that a cat trusts you very much when it sleeps on your lap.

Caihua, I miss you so much. I think of you every day.
