They are really easy to raise! It’s been over a year, and they haven’t been sick. Except once when one of them, being greedy, swallowed the wrapper of the nutritional paste and then vomited all day. After getting an anti – emetic injection at the hospital, it was back to being lively. After being neutered, their temperaments have become even better. They never extend their claws to scratch people, don’t make a fuss when getting their nails trimmed, and are very obedient during baths. Their weights have skyrocketed, and all they do is eat.
As soon as they go outside, they become extremely timid and will cling tightly to you. When there are unusual noises at home, they will prick up their ears and scout for me. During the days when my boyfriend is away, these two cats have given me a great sense of security. But they also turn the house upside down, making me laugh and cry at the same time. Every time it’s both exasperating and funny.
Just now, my boyfriend sent me a video from home. The box on the wardrobe was knocked down by the calico cat and trapped him.
I’ve always wanted to raise a calico cat. When someone in the local adoption group posted information about four kittens, with only one being a calico, I rushed to compete with others to adopt it. As it turned out, the calico kitten was ready that day, and I brought him home. He was such a tiny thing, and would occasionally open his mouth to show aggression.
This is after getting familiar with him, when he’s grown a bit. His fur is still a bit frizzy.
He loves to lie on me. As soon as I lie down, he’ll lie on my chest, purring. He has a stubborn temperament. If he likes you, you can pet him however you want; if he doesn’t, he’ll bite and won’t let go.
He likes to lie in all sorts of strange places, like on the radiator, in the sink…
Every day when I come home from work, he’ll greet me at the door.

Until one day, I picked up a little calico cat on the road… At first, the two cats couldn’t stand each other. Timo (the tabby cat) always wanted to get close to Heitang, but Heitang was extremely fierce and kept slapping Timo’s face… Fortunately, as time passed, the two cats got along fairly well.
Unexpectedly, Heitang turned out to be a female cat… She was in heat. Before I realized it, I watched as Heitang’s belly grew bigger day by day. I was anxiously looking forward to Heitang giving birth every day.
I made an appointment for Sunday to neuter Timo. He was given inhaled anesthesia, and the doctor used the maximum dose. However, Timo had too much resistance to the anesthetic and woke up five minutes after the surgery.

The kittens of Timo and Heitang are clearly their offspring. There were four in total, all either tabby or black – and – white with tabby markings. But Heitang was too small, and in the end, only two kittens survived. After they reached one month old, they were adopted by local cat lovers.
When I shaved their fur, I accidentally shaved off one of Timo’s nipples. Hahaha. Although I felt bad that it was bleeding, I couldn’t help but laugh.
They’ve become as fat as balls. Before, when I shook the cat food can, they would come running quickly. Now this trick doesn’t work anymore. Maybe they’re just too full every day…
