The sense of happiness is at its maximum. Raising a cat, when things are stable, is much cheaper than raising a dog. And the Dragon Li cat is extremely smart. My cat has been with me for only two months, and it’s already proficient in knowing its name and can understand simple words like “come here”, “sit down”, and “get out of the way”. Every time I call it to come, I can see the little cat that was sitting quietly stand up cheerfully, with its tail erect, jumping and running towards me full of joy… I feel like the happiest person in the world!!!
When I adopted it, I had just moved out of the dormitory and rented a small room. Since it was close to an art academy, basically, all my neighbors were students, each with a cat by their side. It was so envy – inducing, okay! So I decided that I also wanted to have a little cat!
I adopted Dali on Xianyu. At that time, I had actually already picked a little orange cat on Xianyu and was going to pick it up the next day. Later, the person giving it away kept urging me, saying that their cat was very popular and asking me to pay quickly. It annoyed me a bit. So, somehow, I scrolled down a bit and saw Dali and her brother.

Two kittens for free adoption. And I fell in love at first sight. They were so cute, okay!!
The person giving them away was a young lady. Her friend was pregnant and couldn’t keep the cats, so she was going to give away the big cat, Dabin, and a litter of kittens. Dali, the little black cat, and Xiaoli were originally going to be adopted together by a young man. But later, something seemed to have happened, and he didn’t adopt them.
Now, when I think about it, I still feel that this might be fate. We were all about to have our own cat owners and cats, but in the end, fate brought us together. And this amazing little cat was taken home by me!!!
It’s super cute!! A short – legged Dragon Li cat. This is how it looked when I first brought it back!
Here I have to say something about this little one. I don’t know if it likes me too much or is just very laid – back. After being taken away from its mother, with whom it had lived for two months, it actually fell asleep on the way. When we got home, it rubbed against me and naturally fell asleep on my bed.

The most satisfying thing about raising a Dragon Li cat is feeling its straightforward yet subtle affection for you. It insists on sitting at the highest place closest to the door, waiting for you to come home. Its eyes light up when it sees you.
It follows you closely, and even if it’s accidentally kicked by you, it will still follow you, looking angry.
It’s extremely smart. When going for an injection, it put on quite a show, but after coming out, the first one it bites is you. It gets revenge right away and never holds grudges.
I’m actually at home much less often than my parents and my younger brother. Later, I could only see it one day a week. But at home, it’s not close to anyone else. Every day, it guards the door of my room, on the shoe cabinet by the door. As soon as there’s the sound of the door opening, no matter what it’s doing, it will dash to the door immediately to see if I’m back.
Its favorite thing to do is to watch me and play with me. After growing up, it knows not to block me when I’m painting, so it finds a small space next to the computer and curls up to watch me. Because it lives with my parents, it gets sleepy at one o’clock, with its eyelids drooping. It dozes off with its little head bobbing.
If it slept with me the previous day, when the alarm clock rings the next morning, what wakes me up must be this nearly ten – pound cat stepping on me, trying to wake me up.
The little cat doesn’t like to meow. Unless I call it, it will reluctantly respond with an “mm” sound, barely opening its mouth.
I have to say that the eyes of the Dragon Li cat are, in my opinion, the most beautiful cat eyes after those of the Ragdoll. When it looks at you, it feels like you can have a conversation with it through its eyes. Affectionate and bright – eyed…
