I got my cat, Mooncake, on the second night of the Mid – Autumn Festival holiday. While scrolling through Weibo, I caught a glimpse of an adoption notice. So I quickly contacted the blogger. The next day, I drove to pick up the cat without hesitation. Everything was done in one go. Even when I got the cat, I still had an unreal feeling.
From then on, I had a cat, and it had a home.
When I first got it in the car, my resident dog at home couldn’t wait to get close to the new friend. But the cat was too timid and kept hissing at the dog. There was no way, so I had to make my dog back off.

It’s been almost half a year since Mooncake came to my home. I hardly have any scratched or bitten wounds. Although Mooncake isn’t extremely gentle, its tolerance is really strong. When I trim its nails, it’s very reluctant. It will struggle and meow loudly (like scolding), but it won’t bite me. If I insist on trimming, it just keeps scolding.
After that, it runs away, but then comes back to stay with you.
It likes playing with my hand. Sometimes when it bites, it really hurts. But miraculously, there are never any wounds. Every time it bites my hand for fun, as long as I shout “It hurts, it hurts”, it will let go. There were a few times when I shouted before it even bit me, which left it looking confused.
When I watch TV, it accompanies me. As long as I’m on the sofa, it will lie in my arms.

Mooncake is very smart. It comes right away when I call its name. Sometimes when I pretend to be uncomfortable and groan a few times, it will also run over immediately. It’s careful and gentle, making it hard to resist.
