Although I was angry, for the next week, every day after work, I would go to the garage where I found her, hoping to meet her again. Since she was so clingy and cute, I thought she must have been picked up by someone else or returned to her original owner.
A week passed like this. By chance, I saw the “scissors – magic method” online. With a glimmer of hope, I tried it. I opened a pair of scissors facing the front door, placed them on an iron bowl filled with water, and set it between two gas stove burners. Then I called the cat’s name, praying that my cat would come back. The next day, on my way back from work, in the community, I really met her!!! She had been missing for a week and was sitting by the roadside, licking her paws. I tried calling her, and she meowed and ran over to rub against me. Suddenly, my heart was filled with the joy of getting her back. I immediately carried her home, fed her cat food, and then went to fulfill my vow to the “scissors – magic method”.
This is what she looks like now.
She loves squatting on the toilet to watch me wash up. As soon as I enter the bathroom, she rushes in quickly, jumps onto the toilet lid, and squats obediently.
It seems I’ve digressed a lot… Well…

Now, to officially answer the question of whether Dragon Li cats are easy to raise, my answer is: Yes, they are.
Our cat loves to eat. Not long after finishing a large handful of cat food, she’ll come to you for more. She knows where the cat food is. When she wants to eat, she’ll rub against you and lead you to the cat food. When we first brought her back, she was a slender cat. But now, just over half a month later, she has become a chubby cat. Her belly is obviously bulging, and her face has rounded. She’s on her way to becoming a “pig – like cat”. She seems to be hungry all the time. She’ll eat whatever amount you give her and come back for more soon after. Every time I’m eating, she’ll squat beside me, staring intently. She doesn’t meow much; she prefers to take action. Just a short while after someone leaves the dining table, when you turn around, you’ll see that the cat is already on the table. When she’s hungry, she’s really crazy. She’ll launch all kinds of sneak attacks. If no one pays attention to her, she’ll jump around by herself. After eating, she’ll jump onto the sofa, tuck her paws under her body, and curl up on the cushion. At this time, if you try to 逗 her, she’s too lazy to even stretch out her paws.
Because she eats a lot, the litter box is full of poop and pee throughout the day. Her poop is as thick as my little finger. The cat litter I use has a green – tea smell, which can deodorize. So even if the cat toilet is placed in the living room, the smell isn’t too strong. She doesn’t sleep in the cat bed I bought for her; she likes to sleep on the sofa.
Now that it’s winter, she’s closest to me. As long as my bedroom door isn’t closed properly, she’ll slip in, rummage under the bed, and then jump onto the bed, curling up on my stomach.
Raising her is really worry – free. Just give her enough food and water, scoop the litter regularly, and play with her occasionally. She won’t make a mess, won’t pee everywhere, and won’t touch cups. Since she doesn’t like to meow, she won’t disturb others either. Well, except when it comes to bathing her and trimming her nails… She loves to bite.
