If you don’t want to raise a breed cat because you think it’s expensive, I think you might need to consider more. Because raising a Dragon Li cat isn’t cheap either. Except for the low or even non – existent cost of acquisition in the early stage, other basic costs like cat food, cat litter, deworming, and hairball – removal aren’t small. And the investment in toys, clothes, and all kinds of small items you want to buy for it is unpredictable.
It’s easy to raise, extremely easy.
If it’s your first time raising a cat, choosing a Dragon Li cat is the right decision!
The picture below shows what it looked like about a month after arriving home.
This picture is from today. It’s almost nine months old now. It can eat, drink, play, make a ruckus, and bite.
Since I’ve wanted to raise a cat for several years, I’ve been doing research and making plans on and off.

After actually raising it, I found that many of the previous plans were useless. Because many of the guides were written by cat owners of pure – bred foreign cats, and those cats were prone to health problems, so a lot of energy was spent on that. When my cat was small, I was worried about all kinds of things. Now I still worry needlessly, but so far, it’s very healthy and there are no problems.
Also, when it first came to our home, it wasn’t like other cats that were afraid of people and hid from them. From the first day it arrived, its habit was to call us to its cage to show us when it was pooping, peeing, or eating.
However, black Dragon Li cats are really lively and full of energy. They require sufficient patience, a great deal of patience, and tolerance. My cat still likes to bite hands and feet. But it’s also our fault because we used our hands and feet to tease it. (You see, when raising a cat, you should have the awareness that the cat is not at fault. It’s us who didn’t teach well, didn’t do well, or didn’t put things away properly that led to them being damaged.)
I hope all dear little creatures have owners who love them. Also, I hope that everyone, when bringing a cat home, can clearly understand the commitment of never abandoning it.
