I live in the countryside, and Dragon Li cats are quite common here. I have one at home. Well, it’s really easy to raise. It’s self – sufficient and basically doesn’t need much attention from people.

The Dragon Li cat is really a very gentle cat. Its temper doesn’t match its strength. It doesn’t bite or scratch people. Even if you “torture” it without malice, it remains indifferent and quiet all the time.
Oh, my Dragon Li cat is very affectionate! Not long after it came to my home, it got to know a little cow – cat (a black – and – white female kitten), and since then, it started its romantic and tortuous love story. There is a black cat across the street from us. It’s very timid and afraid of people, but it’s different when it comes to other cats. It’s like the “big brother” in our neighborhood and has been taking care of my Dragon Li cat since they were young. This big brother has had a rough life. First, it burned off its fur on a coal stove, and later its tail was crushed by something. Its originally shiny black fur has become dull, but it doesn’t affect its “tough – guy cat image”.
After all, which cat that hangs around outside doesn’t have a few scars? The tortuous part of my little Dragon Li cat’s love story lies with this big brother, who also likes the little cow – cat! Caught between a brother and a goddess, what should it do?
Out of brotherly affection, the little Dragon Li cat didn’t want to fall out with the big brother, but it still secretly tried its best to gain points with the little cow – cat through its actions. We always leave the door open a little bit for the cat at night, propping it with a stool. We’ve been doing this since the day the cat came. Before going to bed every day, we prepare cat food for it and put the cat food by the bedside. After it has had enough fun outside at night, it will come back to eat. But from one night, I gradually felt something was wrong. The cat bowl was extremely clean, not a single bit of food left, shining clean!
So I started to observe secretly. One night, there was a sudden noise in the room, coming from the place where the cat bowl was. It was the sound of eating. I’ve finally caught you. Cats are just like people. If they don’t like something, they fight. That night, the sound of fighting and screaming came from behind the house and lasted for more than an hour. The next morning, only the big brother’s lonely figure was on the wall, while the little Dragon Li cat was in the nest, licking the fur of the little cow – cat.

I went back to my hometown today. It’s extremely cold in my hometown. We use a stove to keep warm, and the cat came over too. At first, it didn’t let me touch it, but later it squatted by my feet and let me pet it. Then I picked it up and held it in my arms. My mom told me a lot of interesting stories about it when I wasn’t at home. This cat is really gentle.
