The first cat I raised was a tabby cat. It’s been almost half a year since it came to my home. My colleague couldn’t take care of it anymore, so I took it over.
It’s really good-looking, hahahahaha.
My colleague was its second owner. Before that, it had been passed on twice. The little kitty was extremely insecure. After coming to my home, it basically hid under the quilt during the day, and when I got home at night, it would hide under the bed.
Its name is Third Brother. Every time I come home and call Third Brother, it will mewl softly under the bed. Its meowing sound and tone are really nice, making people mistake it for a girl, but it’s actually not.
Maybe because of the trauma of being passed on twice before, this guy is extremely afraid of going out. So when it gets home, it hardly dares to approach the door. If we trick it out of the door, it will scream pitifully. It really makes my heart ache. After getting familiar with us, when we get home, it will roll around on the floor all the time, being really naughty.
Every time we take it out to take a bath, it’s really difficult. Because it’s very afraid of the cage and the pet carrier (especially afraid that we’ll abandon it). A few days ago, when we took it out to take a bath, the little guy was so scared that it peed itself. It was crying and its whole body was shaking non-stop. It was really pitiful. I’d better bathe it at home in the future. During that time, we moved once. When it came to the new home, it was a bit not used to it. But seeing that my friend and I were both there, it became lively again.

My friend and I really love it. It has become an indispensable part of our lives. Now when I get home and take out my keys, I can hear it calling us. It’s really warm. It waits for us to come home obediently every day.
