My Adopted Tabby Cat Xiaotian: A Story of Growth and Cuteness

My Adopted Tabby Cat Xiaotian: A Story of Growth and Cuteness

Now, my Xiaotian looks like a little rabbit.

It’s… really easy to raise.

Xiaotian is one year and five months old now.

To be honest, she has only been sick once.

I adopted Xiaotian when she was two months old. It seems she was from Southeast University.

Here’s the photo when the students rescued her.

When she was a kitten, her eyes were inflamed and festered, which has led to her not having very good eyesight even now. Sometimes when she rushes out from under the bed, she’ll bump into the bed legs… (It makes my heart ache…)

When I adopted her, it was like this. Her eyes had been cured.

There was a little after-effect. When she first came to my house, she kept sneezing and blowing her nose. I don’t know if the previous eye inflammation affected her nasal cavity. She even choked when drinking water. It was like that for a month or two…

Later, she got better… really, she didn’t sneeze at all. Maybe it was because she was in poor health and too thin, so her resistance was weak.

After two months at my house.

Look at her big, glistening eyes! You can’t tell that her eyesight is bad at all.

It’s just that occasionally when she dashes out from under the bed, she’ll still scrape the top of her head…

This was the root of her problem when she was a kid, and now it’s almost healed.

The only real illness she had was after the spaying surgery. I took her to the hospital for a reexamination. It was raining in December, and she probably caught a cold. When we got back, she vomited, didn’t eat or drink, and then vomited yellow bile…

I took her to the hospital again, and there was no choice but to admit her for an IV drip to recuperate…

As a result, the doctor told me that she bit off the indwelling needle in her paw at night… bit… off… Then the next day, she started eating canned food… ate… canned… food…

Then, when she was okay, we went home.

The after-effect is that she loves canned food very much now… really loves it…

The impact on me… is that it made me truly understand that tabby cats can also eat a lot… And Xiaotian has never developed chubby cheeks. Her face is small, but the fat on her belly is real… When people see her face in photos, they all think Xiaotian is thin…

Occasionally, she gives the “royal disdain” look.

The best full-body photo~

Just taken this morning.

I really love her big, round eyes~

Love you~
