Five years old now～Here’s an update.
Its weight has stabilized at 4.3 kg. It’s still a cat that can eat, sleep and play around. Last year, I changed its cat food and finally got rid of its black chin. As long as it’s healthy, I feel at ease. When I’m at home, it accompanies me while I work. Occasionally, we go out to the corridor for some fresh air, and this has become our tacit understanding.
Domestic cats are really smart. If I get up late, it will open the bedroom door to wake me up like an alarm clock.

Jiefang has become more and more clingy. Should I get another cat to keep it company? I’m so hesitant.
Most cats at the age of four love to sleep, but Jiefang always has a few hours a day when it’s like a perpetual motion machine. Maybe that’s the difference with domestic cats.
This year’s greatest achievement is changing the cat food. After being troubled by the black chin for years, it’s finally healed. Although when changing the cat food and with the season change, we had to go to the hospital several times. The doctor said it was also related to the cat’s stress response. I accompanied it running around. Now that it’s healthy, it’s all good. During the pandemic, I spent a lot more time at home and with it. Let’s just stay together.

Jiefang is over three years old! It’s still the kid who dances intermittently and often melts my heart. Sometimes it’s so naughty that I want to teach it a lesson, but it’s still so cute as my own kid. When it’s being good and sees that I’m busy, it will sleep in a corner where it can see me. But when I’m cooking in the kitchen, it will meow resentfully outside the door until I open the door for it. I will cherish this life that accompanies me. The warmth during the pandemic in Guangzhou. It will be okay.

Recently, a lot of changes have happened in my life. I moved to a new place and have more work tasks. Fortunately, Jiefang has been by my side. After being timid for three days, it continued to be the king of the new home.
