She’s about one and a half years old now.
Still weighing a little over seven pounds. Do female kittens grow more slowly?
Look at these legs!
She sleeps on top of me and I don’t even dare to move.
I don’t know what she’s doing in this picture. She’s just lying there all squared up and looking so cute.
Still sleeping on me…
I really like this one. It seems that Soy Sauce has delicate features with those eyebrows.
Early in the morning, she lies on me. She’s so heavy.

We moved to a new house. I was woken up by her weight early in the morning. She just jumped up with a thud. I really felt like hitting someone.
On a weekend morning, I woke up to this scene.
When it gets cold, Soy Sauce loves to crawl into my quilt to sleep. Every morning, I have to wake her up when I get up. She looks so cute with her eyes still closed.
Attached is a short video of me playing with Soy Sauce before. She’s so obedient. She doesn’t even get angry when teased.

New pictures!
She’s 11 months old now.
Almost 8 pounds…
Sleeping soundly in my arms.
Before going to sleep, I was lying on the bed playing with my phone. She quietly ran to the pillow, played for a while, then turned her head to look at me, and then lay down looking at me. I felt so much love at that moment. I teased her and she didn’t even get angry. She’s really good-tempered.
Here’s our interaction.
Even when I’m putting on a facial mask, she has to come and lie on my shoulder.
Let me show you a picture of the two siblings that I forced to take.

Easy to raise. Really easy.
She seems to be in very good health.
And she doesn’t hold grudges.
Easy to comfort.
My first Dragon Li cat is sort of my second cat. The first one is a British Shorthair. Just a mention of that. Mainly talking about my second cat, the Dragon Li cat named Soy Sauce. She’s a cat I adopted. I saw her on Weibo and fell in love with her at first sight. I decided right then that she was going to be my cat! Here’s what I saw of her on Weibo (I borrowed the original owner’s picture and removed the name watermark).
I thought she was so cute at that time, looking so chubby-cheeked. The original owner couldn’t keep her because Soy Sauce was a kitten she adopted by the roadside (a foreign woman and her daughter were holding two kittens, looking for adopters for the kittens born to their cats at home). But the two cats at home fought badly. Even after isolating them for a while, it didn’t work. So she had to find a new owner for her. Fortunately, I saw her. Finally, I passed the original owner’s screening and successfully brought her home. The name Soy Sauce was given by the original owner and I still use it.
This is when I took her to get vaccinated. She wasn’t familiar with me at that time. There was always a dazed and slightly sad look in her eyes.
After the vaccination, there was another isolation period of over a week. She and my other cat, Vest, hissed at each other through the cage for a long time…
I had to keep Soy Sauce locked up pitifully. Occasionally, I let her out to interact with her brother Vest. During this period, Soy Sauce started to gain weight. I also took a lot of pictures of her.
