My Adorable and Timid Dragon Li Cat, Soy Sauce

My Adorable and Timid Dragon Li Cat, Soy Sauce

At that time, she was still skinny and small, meowing “ahhhhh” every day. It was really a tough period. I couldn’t even sleep well. Later, I just let the two cats fight. My friends often asked me if it was okay since they fought like that. I just waved my hand and said, “It’s okay as long as there’s no blood.”

It turned out later that there was really nothing to worry about. The two cats just slapped each other a few times, swiped at each other, and took a few bites, just playing around crazily.

Of course, there were also tender moments.

Soy Sauce is an extremely clingy cat. She often lies beside me and sleeps so soundly that I can’t wake her up. I even suspected that she was pretending to be asleep.

Well, she’s over eight months old now. A few days ago, I took her to be spayed. After that, she seemed extremely aggrieved and always looked for someone. As long as there was someone at home, she would definitely lie down beside them.

Nowadays, every night as soon as I lie down, she comes running over and tries to get into the quilt. If you don’t lift the quilt for her, she’ll meow “ahhhh”. She can sleep with me the whole night! Oh my god, I was really shocked. Whenever I woke up in the middle of the night, she was always in my arms.

She sleeps so contentedly in my arms.

When I get up to get ready for work, she’ll still stay in bed for a while.

Look, she’s just like a person.

Maybe because Soy Sauce has changed environments a few times, her courage has always been extremely small. I’ve never seen such a timid cat. Sometimes when I play with her and the frequency of moving the cat teaser is a little fast and the sound is a little loud, she’ll timidly step back; sometimes when I put on a garbage bag and it makes a “crashing” sound, she’ll turn around and run away, watching from a distance; sometimes when I take her out, either to see the doctor or just to take her out to play, she’ll meow pitifully in the cat bag. Most of the time, I really feel sorry for her. But even though she’s so timid, she’s very affectionate and can easily adapt to new environments, cats, and people.

Maybe she doesn’t want to change owners anymore. Well… She belongs to me for the rest of her life. Although she’s occasionally naughty and I spank her or scold her, she quickly forgets and doesn’t hold grudges. Of course, she doesn’t remember the spanking either… She even gets her brother into trouble…

But the happiness that this little Dragon Li cat brings me is really huge. Every day when I go home and see her and her brother waiting for me at the door, I’m really happy.

Finally, here are a few photos of Soy Sauce after taking a bath when she was around seven months old (I was almost scratched to death and she was almost scared to death…).
