I’ve been so busy with work recently that I’ve been going to the company almost every day, spending less time with my cat. Every time I get home, it meows at me for a long time to show its complaint. I think Jiefang is my hero. All it wants is to accompany me or have me play with it. It’s so pure and cute. After a tiring day, cuddling with my cat really rejuvenates me.
As a neutered cat over two years old, it still runs around and jumps up and down every day. Its weight remains steady at 4.0 kg. With such a fit lifestyle, it would probably be a street bully among stray cats. To make it quieter, I started to play with it using a cat teaser for a few minutes every day to drain its energy. Later, this naughty kid even brings the cat teaser to me…

During the pandemic, I spent more time with Jiefang. I guess Jiefang was also very confused as to why I was always at home. This cute little devil picks fights with me every day. I can only secretly trim its nails while it’s asleep to save myself.
In March, I noticed a bald patch on its neck. The doctor said it was from its own scratching after I took it to see. So it took three nurses to hold down this little tiger to trim its nails. After nearly a month, the hair finally grew back sparsely…

This cat is really naughty, yet cute. I just don’t know what to do with it.
A lot has happened recently. Jiefang finally got neutered. On the day of the neutering, the doctor could hardly hold down this little tiger. After getting through the ten – plus – day recovery period, we can sleep together now. However, unexpectedly, it’s even naughtier than before. I have to spend time fighting with it every day to wear out its energy.
It’s Chinese New Year. I lament that a woman’s sixth sense is really accurate. I broke up with my boyfriend. From now on, Jiefang and I depend on each other. Cats are more reliable. We only have each other, and we still have each other ❤️
December 2019. After getting the vaccination, the countdown to the neutering begins. Soon, there won’t be the little Jiefang with testicles.
November 2019 update. After such a long period of getting used to each other, it finally lets me hold it. I’m so grateful. A few days ago, I wanted to visit Jiefang’s mother. I heard that she’s been missing for several weeks. The female cat was only over two years old but had given birth five times. It really hurt her body. I don’t think Jiefang would understand if I told it that its mother is gone. I’ll be more tolerant of this naughty Jiefang from now on. I plan to have it neutered this winter. I feel bad for it, but it’s for its own good. I hope it won’t get too fat after the neutering.

During the National Day, my boyfriend and I went on a ten – day trip. People say that if you’re away from home for a long time, the cat won’t recognize its owner. From the video, during the days we were away, this kid ate and slept well, but it was hostile to the temporary cat sitter who came to the door. It wouldn’t let anyone pet or hold it, and it even growled at people, as shown in the video screenshot.
We were so nervous. We were really afraid that it wouldn’t recognize us. But the moment we got home, surprisingly, it recognized us right away. Then it went on a three – day hunger strike and kept meowing (scolding) us until its voice became hoarse. Its fur wasn’t as smooth as before when we weren’t at home. It must have missed us a lot.
In the following days, it became extremely clingy. It even acted cute and asked for hugs. It even sleeps with us now. So touching. When you have a cat at home, you really don’t want to be away for too long.
