I took a look and found that most people were taking the opportunity to show off their cats. However, most of the cats they showed were cute and cuddly, and only a few were in a rather dazed state. It’s hard to completely refute the point that “tabby cats are shrewd and domineering” based on these.
So here I am.
This is my cat. When it first came, it was a fresh-faced kitten, barely meeting what the questioner described as looking “shrewd and domineering”. I’m posting this picture to prove that it’s not an issue with its original look.
Now it looks like this.
It just came back from the outside with a thorn on its face, looking like “Go ahead, woman, I give up”.

Is it shrewd? Is it domineering? Doesn’t this expression look like an old eunuch resigned to his fate?
Some people might object, saying that I’m taking pictures of it with its eyes closed to make it look bad. In fact, it looks the same even when its eyes are open.
I’d call these eye circles the “Trump style”.
If you really want to say there’s some kind of domineering air like that of the leader of the United States…
……………………Well, it’s not impossible.
Life is tough, Trump sighs.
It really gives off the exhausted feeling of a corporate slave.
………………………The energetic separation line…………………
Rock, paper…
Scissors.
Eyes wide open like copper bells (the poor reputation of copper bells).
Lying in the warm nest in spring.
Covered with a quilt in the cold winter.
I’m leaving photos of all seasons to prove its consistent spirit.
Actually, occasionally, a bit of the domineering air that isn’t masked by its fatness leaks out.
I believe it’s not just my tabby cat that has charming qualities…
Finally, here’s a photo of it when it was a kitten, to help the questioner regain confidence in tabby cats.
The lost youth.
To get back to the point, although my cat isn’t very smart, not particularly good-looking, doesn’t seem to have any tolerance for other cats, and doesn’t show the shrewdness and domineeringness the questioner mentioned, and it’s not even close to being cute or silly. But it’s extremely cute and extremely capable. As a tabby cat, it can jump onto the roof after I’m done lazing around like a corporate slave (now I’m in my hometown, and the houses there are bungalows), wake me up in the middle of the night to go out for water and pee, be full of energy but never scratch when being taken to the bath, and it can even stroll around and bring back a mouse to help out at home… Anyway, raising a tabby cat is definitely worth it! Even if it’s a bit ugly and sleazy, it’s still cute!
