Reasons: 1. Docile and gentle. Garfield cats are generally quite tame and won’t damage any of your daily necessities.
2. Not overly clingy and weak in combat. If it has no needs, it won’t cling to you. But if you want to pet it, it can’t resist; it has low aggression. Even if you pet it until it’s really unhappy, it will only give you a gentle bite. Don’t worry, it definitely won’t draw blood! 3. Doesn’t meow much. Garfield cats are very tolerant. If it keeps meowing, it’s very likely that it’s hungry, thirsty, or its freedom has been restricted. So if it meows, there must be some unmet needs.
4. Super sleepy!!! Before 11 am and after 9 pm are the times when it’s relatively active. If you’re at home, play with it. If not, it can sleep the whole day.
5. Timid but resilient. Garfields are generally rather timid, but they can endure going out for a walk, taking a car ride, or taking a bath.
Regarding cleanliness, it varies from cat to cat. If it has lived in a clean environment since childhood, it will be diligent. Otherwise, you know.
The disadvantages of Garfield:
Fragile intestines. So, never be greedy and feed it with cheap and inferior cat food.
Watery eyes. Its eyes are relatively large, but it has little eyelids. It needs to secrete tears to keep its eyes moist. With more and longer secretions, it looks dirty and needs to have its face wiped frequently.
Short nose. Garfield is a breed artificially cultivated, so it has a short nose and tends to snore (if you can’t accept this, you can take it for a nose-expansion surgery).
