When I was in the second year of senior high school, I bought stinky tofu at the vegetable market, planning to go home and enjoy it slowly! But when I got to the yard, I found that the kids in the yard were bullying a stray cat. The cat looked less than a month old…
I said to the kid, “Give the cat to me, sister, and I’ll give you the stinky tofu to eat…” Actually, at that time, I didn’t really like cats that much. I just thought that cat was so pitiful. If those naughty kids kept playing with it like that, it would surely die sooner or later…
Then, I carried the cat home. At that time, the blue film in its eyes hadn’t even faded yet. It was really small… On the first day when I brought it home, I didn’t know what to feed it. My mom cooked plain white rice porridge… and it ate it with great relish.
The cat really followed me everywhere I went… But that was only when it was little…
This is its childhood photo… The white paws were really cute!
Later, it gradually grew up. Since I was studying art, there was a period of intensive training before the art exam in the third year of senior high school.
Every day, I walked home from the studio at half past ten in the evening.

Because we lived in an old house near the railway station at that time, it was quite dangerous… So my mom would pick me up at the entrance of the alley every day…
Every night when my mom went out to pick me up, my cat would go out with her… It would wait for us at the entrance of the building. After seeing us, it would go out to meet its little girlfriend outside the yard… Then we would go upstairs to sleep…
The next morning, I went to school as usual. When I opened the door at seven o’clock, it would be waiting for me at the door… It wouldn’t even meow to ask to come in… It just waited for me… I went out and it came in…
Then I went to school, and it would catch up on sleep on the sofa at home…
It accompanied me throughout my senior year of high school… Later, it eloped with its girlfriend…
At that time, we didn’t have the concept of neutering cats…
Now I’m about to graduate from my senior year of college. Because I love it, I also love its kind… I’ve rescued many cats with the money I earned from part-time jobs…But in my heart, none of them can compare to it…
All in all~ My cat must have been the handsomest cat near the railway station~
I love it so much~
I found the post I made after it ran away in 2014… I really miss it…
I took a lot of photos of it in my old photo album.
