Adorable Naughtiness: My Cat's Quirky Behaviors

Adorable Naughtiness: My Cat’s Quirky Behaviors

These don’t really seem like flaws. They’re just part of a cat’s nature. They’re playful and have an insatiable curiosity.

My cat runs and jumps all around the house every day, to the point where I feel like hitting her. She rushes onto the bed at every opportunity. (Since she’s shedding now, I don’t let her sleep on the bed. But sometimes when I’m lying around at home on weekends and she comes into the room, I’ll let her stay on the bed for a while.)

She rummages through the trash can. Every morning when I go to the living room, the trash can is tipped over. It makes me so angry! Because I have a bit of OCD. But there’s nothing I can do. I can never catch her in the act, so I, as her “mother”, have to silently pick up the trash…

She scratches and bites randomly. The bedsheets are not spared. The wallpaper on the table that was neatly pasted and the tablecloth are all scratched. Even trimming her nails doesn’t help, and she’s really unruly when I try to cut her nails. It’s so frustrating… Now that she’s five months old, she’s started biting me. She bites my hand when we play, not knowing her own strength. And when I’m sleeping, she bites my arms, legs, and feet… Maybe she just wants to play with me. Sometimes when I get home from work and look at my phone, she’ll just stare at me and meow non – stop. This morning when I was putting on my shoes to go out, she lay by the door, looking at me and meowing. It felt like she didn’t want me to leave and wanted me to stay home with her. My heart just melted…

She also peed on the bed before. This is one of the reasons why I don’t let her on the bed after moving… This should be considered a flaw, but it probably wouldn’t be a problem if the owner trains her well.

Next, a bunch of photos are coming up

The above are more recent things.

There are also photos from when she first came to our home at two months old, when we adopted her.

Looking at the old photos and then at her now, she really has grown up. Since she’s always been by my side, I didn’t really notice. I always thought she was still a tiny little kitten. But looking at these, she has indeed grown a bit…
