Let me get to know him first~ Meow: What are you doing!

This little guy was adopted from a colleague. When he was three months old, he was brought from the countryside to her home and raised for a month. He came to my home about four months old. The date I went to pick him up was November 7, 2020. Four months ago, it became his birthday, July 7, 2020. A casual but not simple day! My husband named him Doudou. The more I raise him, the more I love him. I made an appointment to go to my colleague’s home to pick him up.

It was located in a small courtyard in the old city of Beijing. I brought some fruits and chatted for a few words. My colleague shouted upstairs: Mimi. After calling him three times, a cute little cat’s head appeared. This child is really well-behaved. Then, while talking about the handover matters and packing up things, he played around our feet and used his little claws to damage my woolen long skirt. It was great. It was very tiring to walk in it. I didn’t want it anymore. After packing all his things and putting them in our homemade perforated cardboard box, my colleague walked my husband and me to the intersection to take a taxi. He called a few times along the way, and arrived at our home in Daxing more than an hour later.

He was really rude when he entered the door. He took two steps and peed in the litter box. It can be seen that my husband is very satisfied with his behavior. He has been in my house for two years, and he has never peed in any place other than the litter box, but he will occasionally spit on the ground, but I don’t mind it, it’s easy to clean and has no smell. When I got home, I inspected the territory. Curious cat came online, well-behaved and cute, really good. For the first three days, he continued his habit at the previous owner’s house: when no one was at home and when he was sleeping, he was locked in a cage. On the third night, he refused to do it. He kept crying and chewing the cage, chewing the plastic mat net in pieces. I couldn’t bear it and let him out. Since then, I have never locked him in the cage again.

After a week, I don’t know why he ate a cotton rope, which was almost as long as him, including the tail. One morning when I was putting on makeup, I found this guy with his anus on the ground, bent over, and his front paws raking forward! The smell came up instantly, and he pulled out half of the cotton rope. I was ignorant and helped to pull it out. Then he had a fever for several days. Now I think it must have been caused by my pulling on his stomach. He didn’t eat or drink. I didn’t know what was wrong with him at the time. He was in a bad mood and couldn’t even jump onto the sofa. After three days, I found a pet clinic close to home that specializes in cheating customers and furry children.

An inexperienced boy slowly recorded basic information and weighed his weight and temperature. Then I knew he had a fever! I looked at the details page of the anthelmintic I bought on Taobao for a long time, and finally concluded that his condition was okay, and he needed various examinations. I asked the veterinarian boy which examinations were necessary for this symptom, but he couldn’t answer. He said a few uncertain words ambiguously. Finally, he was given an injection of antipyretic injection and left. This cost more than 300 yuan! I went home to learn from various sources on the Internet, bought human medicine according to the prescription found by my husband, ground it into powder, reduced the dosage, and he was full of energy three days later.

My conclusion: Try not to go to a veterinary hospital or clinic easily. If you have to, choose a formal and decent one. Many furry children are easily infected with other infectious diseases after going there once! When I took Doudou with me, I brought an unused scarf and spread it on the table. After all, I always feel cold when I have a fever. I don’t know if this can isolate the virus. In winter, he likes to sleep on my legs. If he shivers for a while, I’m afraid he has a fever again… Before going to the doctor, call and ask if anyone has been to a hospital with an infectious disease recently, listen to their answer, analyze it and decide!
