Tangtang, the tabby cat I picked up (2)
A strong update, 20201113
On October 5th of this year, I finally got a tabby cat, my favorite brown male tabby cat.
I have seen four colors of tabby cats, namely brown, gray, orange and colorful, each with white versions. I have a special liking for brown tabby cats without white. Black pads, bronze eyes, and dark stripes all over the body, energetic! Without further ado, here are the pictures.
This little cat is extremely clingy.
I have petted hundreds of cats, friends’ cats, markets, cat cafes, all included, but he is the clingiest. I pet him endlessly, really, endlessly. As soon as he got home, he took the initiative to lie in my arms and let me hold him and coax him to sleep. Of course, I still dared to let him go to bed after giving him a bath and deworming.
He is also very smart. He
can understand my intentions very well. For example, if he bites me when he is playing, I will slap him and he will never bite me again. However, that may be the way he has developed to play, and he can’t help biting. At this time, he will shrink his neck and close his eyes as if he has made a mistake, waiting for me to give him a bite. I will usually cooperate with him to reduce his guilt and strengthen this reward and punishment logic. He
is also very greedy and has an amazing appetite.
This may be because he has been wandering outside for a long time. With a small body of less than four pounds, his appetite is equal to the sum of the other two big cats in the house, which are 13 pounds and 9 pounds respectively. He eats a lot and poops a lot. Recently, there has been a trend of easing. Maybe he is tired of eating cat food. He is very obsessed with human food. He even eats fried chicken with a little chili. It makes people feel a little distressed. Of course, he steals food. I only feed him cat food and steamed mackerel and chicken breast. He
is very naughty.

He likes to rummage through the trash can. I am still teaching him. I will definitely change this bad habit. I am very confident because the two big cats have also gone through this. He likes fighting very much. The big cat was also picked up. He is very strong and can be knocked down by one arm. But even so, he always goes forward to provoke and feels comfortable only when he is beaten. The second cat is a pet cat bought. He has an extremely gentle personality, but he has become the target of bullying by this little guy. He has to jump to some places that he can’t reach and hide when bullied by the second cat. He
wets the bed and
occupies territory. He peed three or four times, which made my wife so angry that she almost threw it away. Of course, it is impossible. My wife said it in anger, and I understand. In other words, he is still very wild, because the bed is the territory of the big cat. The second cat has been at home for two years and cannot sleep on the bed. The big cat will beat him down, so this little cat takes such measures, which makes me and my wife suffer. Of course, this is all my analysis, because he buried the cat litter very well and never made me worry, so I came to the above conclusion. He
has strong self-confidence.
After arriving at home, he directly integrates into the environment, without restraint or panic, and plays and does what he wants. A few days ago, my baby broke his front right paw by sitting on it. We took him to the hospital for an X-ray and they said it was a bone fracture. He got an injection and took some medicine, but he continued to fight with two big cats with a limp. How confident is that? He jumped up and down like nothing happened. I told my wife that the money was wasted, but he really was fine. Sure enough, he recovered after a few days. Of course, I still have to continue taking calcium tablets and medicine for joint injuries to consolidate my strength.
