My tabby cat Baicao’s daily life (2)

Baicao’s fetal heart rate during the check-up ~
(I was watching the video I recorded myself and found that the music playing at that time was me)
The pregnancy was one month old. The doctor said that the period was still short. The ultrasound showed three, but there might be more. Let’s check again in 20 days for a more accurate result.
When I heard that there might be three, my jumping little heart felt a little comforted. Fortunately, it was not five or six. What can I do with
a pregnant cat with a belly turning over ? I picked up a cat by myself, and I have to kneel down to raise it. After all, she is so well-behaved, cute and sensible! (Bah, fake, all fake) Baicao ate and drank a lot during the pregnancy. Soon, she gained 4.2kg from 2.2kg when she was just picked up. I was relieved to see her grow into a round and plump little cat pig. Half a bag of 16 kilograms of food was soon gone. (A novice cat owner thought that she was raising a cat well, but no, it was just her self-cultivation as a pregnant mother) I took Baicao to the pregnancy check-up on a certain day. The two examinations cost another four hundred dollars, which really hurt the owner. At this time, the delivery date was not far away.

The B-ultrasound could detect the fetal heartbeat. The doctor played it for me and asked me to record a video. When I heard the fetal sound, it felt so magical!!!! It was finally confirmed that I was pregnant with three cats (๑^o^๑) Baicao’s belly was getting bigger and bigger. She looked super cute when she turned over her belly to sleep. I often saw her belly bulging. There must be a baby who was particularly naughty. Because of the fetal movement, Baicao was a little unstable in her sleep, and her legs were always twitching.
On April 9th, because I had to go on a business trip the next day, I took a leave to rest at home. Starting from 7 o’clock in the morning, Baicao began to come to my bedside to see me frequently. At 9 o’clock, she began to step on my chest to see me. I think it’s a bit strange for sleeping late. After raising her, she basically didn’t disturb my sleep. What happened to her that she kept stepping on me today ? After she stepped on me for the second time, I was willing to open my eyes. I stared at her for a few minutes and found that she kept licking her butt, which had water stains on it.
Oh my god, is this the legendary labor? I quickly got up and carried her to the delivery room, which was in a cardboard box. I was like an ordinary husband, waiting outside the delivery room. I read online guides while accompanying her during the labor and it said that a cat can only give birth to the first baby five or six hours after labor, and the whole delivery will take a long time. However, it took Baicao less than two hours from the first birth to the end, and she was still pregnant with a small child. Hehe! Everything went smoothly during the delivery, and none of the bad things that might happen as said on the Internet happened! Baicao is indeed a civet cat.
She gave birth to babies, licked the afterbirth, ate the placenta, and fed milk. I didn’t have to worry about anything. I just watched from the side. She is really a great and responsible little cat! In the end, she gave birth to a cow cat and two civet cats with white spots~ From this, it can be determined that the cat father is a cow cat! (From left to right in the video are the third, second and eldest. The third is the most naughty. Now he is still naughty at the new owner’s house, dancing late at night) Bai Zao has enough milk, feeds and licks the baby in time. During the whole process of raising the baby, I only need to prepare the mother cat’s food.
I don’t have to worry about other things. She can handle it by herself. Reliable!! She is worthy of being my Chinese big tabby!!! Bai Zao, who is tired of taking care of the baby, basically doesn’t look at me. Her heart and eyes are full of her baby. I understand that as a mother, she worries about her own baby. When the baby is gone, she sticks to me! (At this time, I didn’t realize that something was wrong) The third one is on the left, and the eldest one is on the right. The second child of the duo with eyebrows growing forward is getting more and more distinctive. I gave them temporary names, which are: Bai Chi, Bai He, Bai Cao Xin . They all have their mother’s surname. How could such a perfectly distinctive kitten not find an owner? So my colleagues and friends each adopted one~
