Including the meat rat, there were at least five rats in the house.

I looked anxiously at my tabby cat.

But I found that it was still covering its face with its paws, squinting its eyes, sleeping, its belly moving slightly, making snoring sounds, and it was sleeping very soundly…

I felt a little uncomfortable.

I thought that the tabby cat might be lazy and couldn’t catch the rat.

I felt very disappointed.

I was about to turn around and ask my cousin to go catch the rat together.

As a result, the meat rat in the mouse hole came out. It was

the first time I saw a rat with such smooth fur.

This meat rat, how to say, was like a dog with a good diet. Although it was only a little longer than a little finger, its fur was shiny and glossy. When it came out, you could clearly feel that this little animal was different.

It stopped every step.

It came out a little bit and raised its head to look at the tabby cat above its head.

It made sure that the tabby cat was not moving.

The meat rat tiptoed and slowly moved forward. It walked very carefully and cautiously. Moreover, this meat rat was not like the previous four rats. It could actually climb the wall!

Yes.

I saw this meat rat climb up the wall in fear. It quickly climbed the wall to the wing room next door where bacon was hung, just like climbing a rock. I almost screamed in surprise.

At this moment.

I saw a gray shadow.

Swish.

It was very fast, arched its body, jumped up from the barn, and its claws instantly slapped the wall.

The meat rat squeaked.

Then, there was nothing else.

The tabby cat held the meat rat in its mouth and lay on the ground. It looked at me warily and quickly got out of the house with the meat rat in its mouth.

I was stunned.

It turned out that the tabby cat had been acting before!?

I admit that I was really fooled by its acting skills before.

At this time, I remembered the rats before. I

quickly picked up the broom and went to beat the rat.

However, the gray mice before were very stupid. They kept turning around under the bacon and couldn’t get any food. They just licked the oil dripping from the bacon on the ground. As soon

as I entered the house, the mice scattered. There were a lot of rice husks in the house. There were many places for mice to hide, and it was difficult for me to catch them. I had to give up. After I went out, I found another strange scene. The tabby cat was holding the meat mouse. It didn’t eat it either. It just threw the meat mouse on the ground and played with it. I don’t know if the meat mouse had a broken spine or something. It could only move slowly on the ground. It raised its head and looked at me and my cousin sadly with its bright black eyes. Yes, I really saw a sad expression on the face of this meat mouse. It didn’t move. The tabby cat gave it a claw. Then the meat mouse got angry. It stood up and squeaked. Unfortunately, it was useless. The tabby cat hit it a few more times.

The meat mouse was beaten to death on all fours. My cousin said, “This meat rat is pretending to be dead.” I didn’t believe it at the time: “Pretending to be dead?” 10 My cousin said, yes, this kind of meat rat is very smart. Someone in the next village had his nose bitten by a meat rat when he was a child. He was bitten while sleeping. I have never believed in such rumors.

But this wild rat, this meat-eating rat, is indeed a little too smart. After the meat rat lay dead on the ground for a while, the tabby cat seemed to lose interest. It scratched it a few times with its claws. Seeing that the tabby cat did not move, it squatted aside, looking elsewhere, staring at my old hen and the chicks, lost in thought. The meat rat on the ground took advantage of this moment. Whoosh up. Then, like a black shadow, it quickly ran towards the pile of firewood next to it. I screamed. But the tabby cat’s reaction was faster than my scream.
