My American Shorthair cat has a very high IQ.
I have a 5-year-old Tianyuan female and a 1.5-year-old mixed American Shorthair male (actually, I am still not sure whether he is a mixed American Shorthair cat. His father is a folded-ear cat that does not look like a British Shorthair cat with folded ears. I will tentatively guess that he is an American Shorthair cat because his face looks more like an American Shorthair cat).
In summary, it can be summed up in four words: damn! He was fat to begin with, and gained weight even more after being neutered. Now he has reached a weight of 19 kg. . . . . . My Tianyuan is only 6 kg. Usually, I can only hide on the refrigerator when he pesters me , because the American Shorthair cat is too fat to jump on it. Recently, he broke his limit and can jump on the refrigerator, so… . … In addition to having sex with middle-aged beauties, his hobbies are eating and drinking, rummaging through trash cans (do all American shorthair cats like rummaging through trash cans???), chewing tissues (he likes to imitate people pulling out tissues one by one), and vandalism (breaking three cups).
He has a very high IQ! He is very good at opening doors. When I used to squat in the toilet, he would quietly open the door and come in by himself, so now I have to tighten the lock, otherwise it will be too scary. He pretends to be pitiful. When he does something bad, he pretends to be pitiful and innocent, so I can’t bear to hit him. But when he meets a tough parent, he becomes honest and dares not do anything bad (for example, he dares not rummage through the trash can under the loving education of my sister, and he returns to his original state as soon as my sister leaves).

The awkward period after shaving is very anthropomorphic. He likes to learn from humans, such as pulling tissues and sleeping like humans, lying in the middle of the bed with a pillow facing the head of the bed (if I have already lain down, he will sleep in the middle of the other side of the double bed). He knows how to please people. Normally, he doesn’t like to be hugged or touched. He is obviously fat, but when he runs away, he is very flexible and hard to catch. We usually can’t hold him down because of his weight. But once I have something delicious in my hand, he will immediately run over and rub his head against your hand (very aggressively), and then run away after eating.
The most amazing thing. I am a little amazing. He has a favorite white mouse toy, which is very small. He often plays with it and pulls it into the refrigerator or under the sofa. He will go to hook it by himself. And he has a very clear thinking process. He will first lie down and look at the direction where the toy fell. If it is close to the right but cannot be hooked from the front, he will try his best to push open a plastic wardrobe on the right side of the refrigerator. After pushing open a place for him to get in, he will hook the toy out. If the toy is behind the refrigerator against the wall and cannot be reached from three directions, he will find ways to remove the obstacle and squeeze into the gap behind the refrigerator. The most amazing thing is that he doesn’t just know how to put his claws in to hook, he can also bounce, use his paw pads to bounce the little mouse, bounce it to a convenient position to take it out. If there is a place that he can’t reach, such as under the sofa, he is really too fat to get in, so he will look for me and push me over to get it for him.
Apart from being naughty, he is still very friendly in character and can easily adapt to the environment and friends. If you force him to hold you, he will let you hold him, but generally speaking, he is relatively independent and can enjoy himself. He had his balls circumcised before he went into heat, so his cheeks didn’t swell up. I personally don’t like cats with swollen cheeks. Now I want him to lose weight. He is really too fat and I am afraid he will get sick. I bought Hill’s weight-loss cat food, and usually go home to play the game of round ball (that is, throwing toys out and letting him fetch them back). He usually plays and chases with the middle-aged beautiful woman. Now that he is older, he eats less. But he didn’t lose even a pound! I swear to God, I hardly feed him any other snacks! Why is he still so fat! He is so fat and numb . By the way, please tell me how to make a male cat lose weight!
