Ragdoll cat Oreo
Because I really like cats, my boyfriend’s mom gave me a three-month-old ragdoll cat on my birthday and named it Oreo. Because I live with my boyfriend, I keep it in his house! At first, it could only be kept in a cage. It was so small, and it meowed when it saw people. It was so cute. The
Pomeranian (Daida) at home kept smelling Oreo
when he just got home .
Later, he was kept in a cage for two or three weeks. He went to the cattery for the third shot of vaccination. I thought he could be raised freely happily, but he got a fever on the day of the vaccination. I gave him antipyretic medicine in the cattery. The next day, he had a poor appetite, which lasted for a week. He also coughed and had loose stools. The injections and medicines didn’t work, so I put him in the cattery for a week of recuperation (thanks to the cattery for being very responsible and not charging any fees for treatment and recuperation). The little ragdoll is weak and has a bad stomach, but it is completely ok with careful conditioning. Cat parents should not be afraid.

After the cattery sister’s conditioning and various observations and cages after taking him home, he became lively after a few days. He ate Aconna mixed with steamed chicken breast/steamed beef. He ate a little bit each time, but he ate as much as my 8-year-old Pomeranian in a day. His poop was very smelly. Later, he was free to let himself go after being raised in the wild. He didn’t even bury his poop!!!!!
Maybe he ate too much. He was really energetic. He had toys on the ground, such as cat teasers, fake mice, laser pens, bell balls… He also wanted to snatch my Pomeranian’s toys, and even drilled on himself with the doghouse. All these are acceptable, but there is one thing. He probably gnawed people’s hands and feet every day because of the teething period. He bit you (not really), but he really left teeth marks when he played crazy. It hurt so much, and he also rubbed people’s hands. His hands were full of his claw marks. The methods of educating cats on Zhihu didn’t work. After a while, the scars healed and he forgot the pain, and he started to move around like crazy again.
He also likes to crawl into various corners, his body is covered with dust, his feet are covered with poop, and he crawls here and there, crawls on the bed ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ Smiling face here.
In summary: his physical fitness is not that good, his stomach is fragile, (for no reason) he doesn’t cover his poop, bites people, and runs around.
But I have never regretted it!! It is really a gift from my boyfriend’s mother, and I love Oreo so much. I hope to stay with him for a long time, watching his color getting darker and his body getting more and more fit (fat). It’s really like raising a child!
I love Oreo every day
